Flores is out of options. Of course, it's reasonable for one to feel that that detail isn't all that important in his case.

OPS+ is a cool stat, and it's a great place to start when comparing players of different eras. In many cases, OPS+ can be enough. For instance, when looking at how Ron Santo compared to Hall of Fame third basemen, his OPS+ fell right in the middle of the pack. It was reasonable to use the stat to indicate that Ron qualified offensively. But it does carry the same main flaw as OPS, i.e. it doesn't weigh OBP enough. In Ichiro's case, that's pretty significant.

Yes still done except on days with a specific uniform. That is why it seems we wear the blue BIG uniforms 5 days a week. If they're on the road, they also have to consider the home team's choice of jersey. If the home team chooses something close to navy blue (e.g. black), the Brewers will need to wear gray.

Options for streaming Packers / NFL games?
1992casey replied to Patrick425's topic in Off-Topic Forum
The thing is that there are a few bases to cover. FOX games are streamed by FOX, CBS games are streamed by CBS, and ESPN games are streamed by ESPN. Sunday Ticket is only for Sunday afternoons. And then there is whoever carries Thursday games. NBC games are likely to be readily available, and ESPN games may be too. Does Fox Sports Go determine which games are available based on one's cable login location or on one's actual location? I've only tried it at home; in that case, the locations would be the same. -

Options for streaming Packers / NFL games?
1992casey replied to Patrick425's topic in Off-Topic Forum
I think there's an option available, but it seems to be a bit complicated because there are so many networks involved. Everything here is based on 2015 information. I went through three articles quickly, so this info could be off by a bit. It appears that NFL Game Pass isn't live, so that might not be the option you want. NFL Sunday Ticket is for Sunday games only and requires DirectTV, so that's limited. Watch ESPN and Fox Sports Go require cable subscriptions but are free otherwise. Fox Sports Go offers only out of market games. It'd be a bit of a cheat, but your son could log in with your cable credentials (what the heck, he'll still be kind of a member of your household). Since he'd be out of market, he should be able to see the games carried by FOX. NFL Mobile apparently offers all games live as long as you're a Verizon customer and you have an Apple TV, Xbox 360, or Xbox One. I don't understand the connection between Verizon and those devices; maybe that's Verizon's home Internet service rather than Verizon wireless. Here are some articles to wade through: 5 Best Ways to Stream NFL Games How to watch NFL games online, with or without a cable subscription All The Ways To Watch NFL Without Cable -

Cubs got lefty reliever Mike Montgomery, gave up Dan Vogelbach to get him. We now have a new topic for this trade, so any discussion should be put in that thread. Montgomery/Pries to Cubs, Vogelbach/Blackburn to Mariners -

Not to mention I-39/90 between Wisconsin Dells and the state line and I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee. A week ago Sunday, I-94 was stop and go from eastern Jefferson County to almost the lakefront. If we're talking about gas prices, though, I don't think they correlate to much at all. I stopped believing anything we hear when we were once told that prices were up due to decreased demand.

Brewers extend radio rights with 620 WTMJ
1992casey replied to JohnBriggs12's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I remember Bud talking about going to Chicago and not being able to get games on WISN. My biggest complaint about WTMJ is that they were behind dumping stations from the network — in particular Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids. Along with that, a couple of FM stations were dropped in favor of weaker AM stations. It was felt that the Wausau station could cover those areas, but it didn't, and at the time, the Wisconsin Rapids station decided to carry Cubs games. I see that Rhinelander is back on FM, so maybe that helps. -

I think that building coaching to fit an organizational philosophy is similar to acquiring players. It isn't going to happen all at once.

Thanks for the info. The Plain Dealer link appears to be outdated too. I'll get to the changes in a bit.
