  1. Punch me in the nuts if I am wrong, but I would legit pitch Albers first. No question about it! Albers all the way
  2. 3 outs to go...will the be patient and have good plate appearances, or no??
  3. This is the problem though...ONLY two games out...but when you think about all the chances the last couple of weeks they have had the chance to get within 1 or heck even take the lead again, is what is so maddening.
  4. Scoring 8 runs and losing is so Brewers...I have held on as long as I possibly could this year with playoff hopes, but after tonight...it's over. This is absolutely despicable.
  5. Come on, everyone keeps saying there are NO good options in the pen. Maybe...but Claudio has been decent against Lefties, Albers has been pretty good, Pomeranz has been fine. We know hader can be. But even still, let's just say there are no good options...well there are worse options then others, and unfortunately, it's the two guys CC seems to rely on the most...Freddy and Junior. How many games have those two lost for the Brewers this year?? Is CC an idiot??
  6. And of course none of the soft Brewer beat writers will take CC to task on this..First of all, I'd like to know why Pomeranz for only an inning...he has been one of the better options out there. 2nd of all, why the hell does he keep going to Freddy, and third...he said he wanted to use Hader in some lower pressure situations. Okay, so why not him there, then??
  7. Screw you CC! As soon as I came back upstairs from the basement and saw Freddy in, I said "well, this one's over". Sure enough..
  8. I'll be a quick to defend CC as he has no good options ever out of the bullpen. Might as well throw perez out there I mean I don't necessarily disagree, but a lot of times it matters WHEN you use someone. That's been CC's biggest problem this year. And I'm guessing he has NO ONE up throwing either.
  9. Another screw up by CC again...first of all only giving Pomeranz one inning, and then bringing Freddy in...who didn't know how it would end??
  10. Smh...had a 5-0 lead...just...unreal...and you just know now the bats will go silent.
  11. You had a feeling the real Jordan Lyles was going to show up eventually.
  12. I mean what did you want him to do?? There isn't a hitter in baseball that wouldn't have gone for two on that. It took a perfect throw to get him. They are hitting Sanchez...that's a good sign. It will pay dividends later.
  13. I still can't believe they are going to slot Zach Davies into the rotation in the series against the Cardinals...really?? He has been awful...games against the cards are too important to basically be giving away like that. I'd honestly rather see them do a bullpen day then to go with Davies.
  14. Mark A had said from day 1, that they would "find the money" to add at the trade deadline if they needed to. But yes, their payroll HAS to, and NEEDS to and CAN increase.
  15. You're exactly right...those Hiura and Yelich AB's with 2nd and 3rd and 0 out were the ball game, and you could just sense that was going to come back to haunt them big time. Your two best hitters up, only needing a fly ball and they can't deliver...that's absolutely despicable to think that Yelich had some of the worst AB's of the night and Hiura wasn't far behind. Has any bullpen suffered more this year than the Brewers with lead off walks?? Sure doesn't seem like it. It also sure seems like a lot of the late inning walks they get ahead like 1-2 or 0-2 and end up losing them. Make you want to vomit. They keep pissing away chances to get to the top of the division again. They get within a game, then lose, get within a game and half...lose. Just can't seem to get over the hump. And of course go figure the Cardinals tee off on Castillo tonight. Would heve NEVER thought that would happen..ever.
  16. Stupid CC and his affinity for Junior...It just baffles me that he actually thinks Junior is capable of getting outs when needed. All the arms available in the pen, and he calls on him??
  17. Outstanding work Junior! Just beautiful! CC loves him some Junior, and for me, he has always been my least favorite out of the pen. Brewers two games back after tonight...again. One step forward, 3 steps back with this team
  18. Brewer hitters all year long have not been able to lay off pitches on the outside corners(or just off). It's an epidemic that is plaguing this team
