  1. I'm so pissed...that is absolutely one of the worst managerial decisions you could possibly make Craig..I mean EVER. Any smart manager walks Suarez there...what's the harm?? There is none. CC will say "well, he was 0-10 against jeremy and we liked him against the righty there instead of the lefty on deck". Weak ass excuse craig...you just CANNOT make that mistake as a Manager..that is a total no brainer...that's not the first time he has done that this year either.
  2. What did I just say?? That is ridiculous for CC not to put him on with the IBB. Why the hell wouldn't you?? My god, terrible decision.
  3. I guess after those two slams, I can't let myself get mad anymore when the Cubs seemingly always get big home runs from the stiffs Caratini and Bote...wait..yes I can.
  4. Crap, that ended up being like wasting Hiura's AB...before he acme on deck, I was wondering if the Brewers got it to 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th and had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 0 or 1 out if he could/would PH.
  5. I have no idea why so many hitters swing at that slider that basically hits the dirt. Not just Yas, you see it throughout baseball. It baffles me...it's not like the pitch starts as a belt high strike and drops off the table...it starts low and then basically hits the dirt, and guys repeatedly swing at it. Baffling.
  6. These are the games (series) that have me so hesitant about wanting to be a buyer. Just don’t see this team as a legit contender. It’s so tough. They can still win this series. But you make some noise with big series wins to give it right back against crap teams at home. It’s like the complete the definition of a .500 team Reds aren’t a crap team. True. But they aren’t good either. They still are like 8 games under right? They have the 2nd worst winning % in the NL behind only the Marlins.

  8. Of course the giants have been red hot, but just watch...since the Cubs are in town, this will be the series they suddenly go cold.
  9. Well...no Braun and no Hiura tonight, I guess we should have expected this...but still...ouch. Not a good time to be losing to the Reds...especially at home. Go Giants I guess.
  10. He should...if he goes with what they have, they will quickly fall out of contention, with a loss in that spot and Chacin's spot almost guaranteed every week.
  11. Trading yelich and Hader before their contracts are set to expire would be the dumbest moves in the history of baseball..period. Are you going to explain that to the fans?? Good luck with that. Stearns would be the most hated man in the state maybe ever if he did something that stupid.
  12. That has absolutely nothing to do with the players they may acquire this year. Absolutely no idea how any of that is relative to what they may do this year. They NEED to be buyers. Period.
  13. You are the same guy that wanted to trade Hiura for Kluber this past off season. That is the perfect example why GM's don't make reactionary trades. Stearns knows what this team needs, but he is going to do it only if the value is right. Are you sure you don't have me confused with someone else?? I really don't remember saying that. If I did, then so be it. However, I would still consider trading Hiura IF I was getting an absolute stud Pitcher back with several years of control..I'd trade him for DeGrom for example.
  14. It's listed as Gio, Woodruff, Chase right now.
  15. The biggest concern is who do they start against the Cubs to take Woody's spot?? It absolutely CANNOT be someone currently in the organization. That COULD be a division defining series, and it's way to important to throw a guy like Supak, or anyone else in the organization and "hope it works". Not with the way Chacin is throwing as well. Stearns NEEDS to have another starter by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest IMO. Pay the price...scared money don't make money.
  16. I think this is perfect, IF it's reality...time for Stearns to swoop in on someone under the cover of darkness so to speak and get the guy(s) he wants. Beat everyone else to the punch. “The price tag remains exorbitant for the available players” but it’s perfect? Define exorbitant...that's what I'd like to know. Have a feeling, GM's are all trying to get "discounts" on guys, instead of just paying the price(s) that is required. One man's "exorbitant", is another's "opportunity". You can't expect to pay Walmart prices when guys are worth more than that. Think GM's are just being panzies and the prices are actually fairly reasonable, but they just don't want to pay them. Scared money don't make money.
  17. I'd try to get Scott Oberg myself.
