  1. I'm not done yet, but I entertained the thought for quite some time after today's debacle. I actually took a week of vacation next week to go to the final 4 games and was hoping to be there when we clinched a playoff spot. It doesn't look like that's going to happen any more, but we still have a chance. Like others have said, I go through withdrawl all offseason, so I can't stop watching now. Today was the first time all season that I actually screamed at the TV when Soto hit that homer. By the end, I just sat there in amazement and shock while we just let it slip away once again. I must be more emo than I ever thought, cause I actually want to keep putting myself through this until the end.
  2. If the Sheets injury is more serious than we know of right know, what are the chances that Yo starts a game during the final homestand? I for one am really hoping it doesn't happen, just to ensure he is healthy next year, but Ben's injury scares me into thinking that Yo may be tabbed to start a game or two.
  3. Hope it's not too late, but I just got around to sending in my donation. Thanks for keeping up the site, but I have one more question. How much more do we need to donate to start a "suicide watch" hotline after the events of today?

  5. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/18315c9579f2611495f2e7ecb1dee12d12e31d4.pjpg Pretty much sums it up. Ned is insane. No other way to put it.
  6. there is a decent albeit not overly great or fancy digital camcorder on sellout.woot.com today for $99.99. don't know a lot about them, but seems like a pretty good deal, I would just suggest reading the comments section and putting in a little research first
  7. You forgot the 7 double plays and 9 strikeouts!!
  8. As a retail store manager, who is looking to hire by the way adamb100, I would say that if you are just looking for something short termed retail may be the way to go. Like someone stated earlier, it won't look great on a resume to work somewhere for 3 months, but I've had quite a few workers in the past that intended on only staying for a few months during seasonal times and ended up loving their jobs and staying on at least 5 or 10 hours a week for up to a year or more. It's really not a bad gig if you don't mind talking to random people and don't mind working until 10 or 11 at night sometimes. adamb100--If you want more info from me, just send me a pm.
  9. I'm about 95% sure that you submit a roster for each round of the playoffs. If Yo pitched in the 2nd game of the first series and had a setback, I believe he could be replaced on the roster before the League Championship round if we made it through.
  10. Geoff Blum isn't only a Brewer killer after all. 9-7 Stros
  11. Pigs bite, a lot when they are stressed. I actually lived in Crawford county where this incident happened and you used to hear similar stories with regularity. Most of the pig farms around there have several hundred pigs and moving them from pen to pen isn't a very fun experience. Pigs don't really "attack", they are just basically a herd mentality animal that will eat just about anything when threatened.
  12. In an effort to lighten the mood until the ruling on the hit/error appeal comes, let's at least have some fun with the postgame pic. Remember to follow the BF.net rules with all captions though. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/eaf1509373f16f1defc9b2a5dd15b63979f2bc4.pjpg "CC and Prince try to win the 'break the water ballon usind only your body' contest at the annual Brewer's summer picnic"
  13. reminded me a lot of an NBA all star game. litttle to no defense really being played and guys just throwing up shots whenever they had any look at the basket.
  14. I'll probably watch most of it live. Don't have to be at Miller Park until about 11 or so tomorrow, so why not stay up till 3 watching a sport that I wouldn't even pause on while flipping through the channels except during the olympics. Turns out I've been watching a lot of late night sporting events I bet I don't watch again for about another 4 years.
  15. i dabble with protrade but have only done a few challenges. I seem to not be addicted enough to it to perform well in the challenges. I was winning one early in the season, but had Yo in my portfolio when he got hurt. Needless to say I wasn't home to switch him to a short and I didn't win the challenge. Overall I like the idea of Protrade, but from what I've seen you really have to be into it to be successful. Doesn't make it any less fun though
  16. thanks for all of the help finding out the info. I am no longer concerned about her earning enough points to lose her license but think she should still go to court to hopefully stop our insurance from going up that much
  17. I actually have a niece who will be in the Granton Education system very shortly. She is in Nasonville(sp.) right now and my brother and sister in law are planning on here going over to Granton. Not the most exciting area of the state, but if you are really interested in getting to know your students and impacting each of their lives in small class sizes, you are heading to the right kind of place. congrats!!!
  18. so, my gf just got pulled over going 47 in a 30 today and got a $109 and 4 point ticket. Is there somewhere you can check to see how many points she has earned or does anyone know who long points stay on your license before being reset? I told her going to court was probably the best idea, but just want to know how close she may be to getting enough, I believe it's 12, points to really be in jeopardy of losing her license.
  19. thanks for the help pretendastronaut, unfortunately that doen't work for me. I have my account number and when I try to reset my password it says that my email isn't valid. When I tried to set up a new account on there, there was no option to just put in my account number and I was just assigned a new one to purchase tickets through, but don't see any of my actual information. I'm going to call me ticket guy, but I expect him not to be able to help much since that's been pretty much the case with him the last 2 years.
  20. Has anyone found a easy to read in depth stat page for the Olympic baseball teams? curious to stats for the US and maybe for that one guy from Canada, eh
  21. Jhart05--I haven't received mine in the mail yet either. How were you able to seat your seat locations online? In the email that I got today, it said I would need my number and password from my postseason invoice which I don't have. Did you just set up an account through the postseason link on brewers.com? thanks
  22. Why not, they should have been strikes now and they were strikes for Lowe all night long tonight. Let's go Braun!!!
  23. uecker9 and fortheloveofweeks--coupons should be in your email boxes thanks
