  1. I like starting Freddy on Thursday and then going back to him on Monday at Coors. Wouldn't expect him to pitch a ton of innings in either so 3 days rest should be fine.
  2. Keep on waiting, should be able to get in for face or lower if you wait until Friday. Cubs fans have to salvage some of the money spent.
  3. Arcia ended up going 290/320/386 after his return from the minors. Certainly can't ignore his horrible first half offensively but if he can consistently put up his second half number over an entire season he will be a quality SS for us for many years to come.
  4. The NLDS game 1 and 2 were on a Saturday and Sunday, game 5 was on a Friday. The NLCS started on a Sunday.
  5. If they are worried about ratings I don't understand why they just don't go with a 5 or 6 start time in Milwaukee and 9 in LA. Friday they don't have much choice with four games but no reason to do afternoon games with two games.
  6. His agent who posts here says all is fine.
  7. I believe the MLB at bat was/is free now. I have the app and just watched the game on my Roku.
  8. Brewers saved me nearly $250 today in tickets and parking with the win today. Time to reinvest it in the NLDS game 2 or 5.
  9. I'm glad the Cubs/Cardinals play early on Saturday so at least the Cardinals won't be eliminated prior to the game.
  10. That was tough with me too, not knowing the date and time especially with the Division in play. I bought the Wild Card since I will know it will be a Tuesday night if they get the Wild Card. Bought game 1 on the NLDS because it will either be Sunday for game 3 or that Thursday Game 1 probably at night since the AL does not start until Friday. Didn't buy game 2 because I figure it will be a day game if played on Friday.
  11. Both Wild Card teams in the American League, the Athletics and Yankees, celebrated after they clinched. It would be a shame if the Brewers didn't win the Division and never celebrated after a long season. The Cubs should celebrate as well even if it is a result of another team losing, happens all the time in baseball. Doesn't minimize what the team accomplished.
  12. Starting to worry a bit that the Cardinals will tank and be eliminated Friday if they lose today but don't really want the Brewers to lose either. Rockies seem to have an easy path to the playoffs.
  13. Was a little late to logging in today and just got 4 Terrace Box seats for the Wild Card and NLDS game 1 in 430 and 432 respectively. Looking forward to it.
  14. I just got an e-mail that had my account number included. If you go to the Brewers post season site at 10 today and enter your account it should let you buy tickets.
  15. The brewers have not been in the playoffs much, he needed to be there when/if the Brewers clinch a spot tonight.
  16. Ramirez is a free agent but could be rule 5 eligible if he signs a minor league contract before the draft.
  17. Right, besides Jesus hitting the one home run against Flaherty in the season finale last year, the Brewers have not been able to do much of anything against him.
  18. That Brewers photo kind of scares me with Albers right in the middle.
  19. Would feel a lot more comfortable if the Brewers can take 2 out of 3 against the Cardinals. If the Brewers lose 2 out of 3 they would only be up 1 with the Cardinals getting the tiebreaker for home field in the Wild Card. Plus it is would be very likely the Cubs have nothing to play for against the Cardinals.
  20. Yeah, definitely go for the tiebreaker game if they have a shot.
  21. No it would be played at Wrigley.
  22. They are not going to waste roster spots in the WC on starting pitchers.
  23. Never driven down Miller Parkway? Target is directly south of the stadium. Yeah don't park at the VA, Target has never seemed to care if Brewers fans park there.
  24. True, but they got swept in that series against the Braves. Since then they have played the Reds, Marlins and Royals in three game series. Give them credit for taking care of business against the bad teams but the Pirates are a .500 type team and the Brewers need to start beating them.
