  1. I really don't think Cobb will get much of a contract, maybe a Tramon Williams type deal. To be as unproductive as he has been with Rodgers the last couple of years should be alarming to all general managers.
  2. I really hope the rumors of the Packers keeping Graham are not true and they dump him, just not worth the guaranteed money they have to give him and think he is a liability as a WR or TE. Money can be better spent actually getting a good tight end or WR.
  3. I don't think you can just check and see if the Bucks would be better with Snell in the starting spot, Snell has nicknames for a reason. I don't want to imagine this team starting Snell and getting 35 minutes a game from him.
  4. Middleton may stay or he may go but the reality is the Bucks are trying to win a championship this year. Kind of hard to believe considering how bad they have been over the years but Middleton will be a huge part in determining if they get there.
  5. I was expecting a loss on Saturday since it was a back to back and they were missing a ton of guards but when up 17 in the 4th it would be nice to close out. I like Middleton but if he just plays decent in the 4th the Bucks win. With that said after the Raptors loss yesterday the Bucks are in great position for the #1 seed up 2.5 with the tie breaker. At this point I just want everybody healthy for the playoffs and if they lose games like this along the way so be it.
  6. I think it is a decent question but probably wouldn't result in much of a return because the Royals are not competing. Would offer them Kratz for nothing as he won't be making the team barring injury. Give him a chance to play and work with their pitchers during Spring Training.
  7. Not necessarily, just see David Wright or Prince Fielder.
  8. Why would you take 10/300mil over this? You want to hit FA at 36 years old and trying to get another $30mil then? I would take 13/330 as well. He could have signed 10/300 but even with inflation and skyrocket salaries I certainly wouldn't bet that Harper will be good enough at age 36-38 to get $10 million a year.
  9. I do recall Adam McCalvy also confirming Guerra does not have any options remaining but unclear how that 4th option was burned.
  10. Yeah that is nowhere near accurate as they were winning 50+ a year during the 80s.
  11. In that case I'll take Hank Aaron in RF I think actually being good is still required. No offense, but Hank Aaron was trash as a Brewer. Correct, just considering their time as a Brewer. Sheffield was a hall of fame type player as well but not so much as a Brewer. The Brewers have had four MVPs in their 50 years, each of them should be on the all time Brewers list IMHO.
  12. Yelich has only played one season as a Brewer but no way I would leave him off the list. The Brewers have not been good enough to exclude an MVP. With Yount at SS I would also strongly consider Cain in CF, another MVP caliber player.
  13. I would say that there is very little chance that Guerrero is a top 100 player this year. A top player right now is different than a franchise player draft, Trout was also nowhere near a top 100 player in 2011. The author is trying to be too cute.
  14. I doubt it, they paid well over $100 million for a negative WAR player, MAchado will be good/great for a number of year still.
  15. If you are going to have all of those other notes would also add Petricka can refuse an assignment after 15 days in the majors. It likely doesn't matter if he has one or two options remaining.
  16. I remember when the Brewers traded for him when the Nashville Sounds were the Brewers AAA team in 2014. Didn't exactly do real well after they acquired him.
  17. Great news, welcome to the shuttle.
  18. I can't imagine this has anything to do with Shaw but he should be able to outproduce Perez. Would definitely have him prove himself in the minors for a bit with his two year absence.
  19. We really are entering the HighHeat portion of the off season. That was February 5th for his 9 PM announcement so pretty close. I give the guy above credit for the Moose trade, obviously had inside info there but hard to do twice. I am sure there are people here that have inside info but unless you are Stearns it is only bits and pieces. Josh the MLB agent for sure has info on various topics he has never posted about.
  20. Why? Suter will be out for the season, so he won't be on the 40. Also, if it came down to adding Miley (or anyone really) and DFA Wilkerson I won't shed any tears. Out of that entire list I would only feel comfortable with Peralta, Davies, Anderson, Woodruff, Burnes and Chacin starting in 2019 so if there is a clear upgrade over any of those guys and they feel comfortable spending the money then go for it.
  21. Strawman... Strawman... Strawman... I think your working understanding of what "strawman" means needs some fine-tuning. Go look at what Murphy, LeMahieu, and Lowrie signed for. Go look how often they've been mentioned in threads since the off season began, and even before that. I agree with you here. While I have no idea what his solution to 2B is the argument for Murphy, Lowrie, etc. has been made many times by various posters so to try to say that was never discussed doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense. A Spang/Perez platoon may not outperform those other high priced free agents but as of right now it appears it will be the route the Brewers will be taking to start the year.
  22. The Billy Joel bobblehead is fine, my Mom is a huge fan and will love one for Mother's Day. The main people that have issues with bobbles are the completists that have to have one of everything, that is not the Brewers Marketing Department's problem. If you don't like a particular bobble pass on it and move on.
  23. Was going to answer Vitense in Madison but you mentioned it as one of your favorites. For others that have never gone it has an indoor course and two outdoor, they are all fun. Wild Fun Zone in the Dells has one but it is rather small. Can't really think of other indoor courses in the area.
  24. Probably knew it would leak. Fiserv being the Bucks corporate sponsor was one of the worst kept secrets so when it was finally announced it wasn't a big deal. Will be a little odd the next couple of years.
