  1. The Big Mac-Chicken with Cheese... I can't believe this...we were talking at work today about making a Big Mac with Filet-O-Fish patties as the bun...what are the odds of that? And yes...I am fat.
  2. I still haven't received a denial email on my or my wife's email account for the Opening Day lottery...I wish I would have gotten them so I would have known that I have always been and will always continue to be a loser!
  3. Back when this bobble-head was given away I was still in the mind-set of getting every bobble-head the Brewers released (including the alternate versions). I believe I paid around $75 including shipping (I know it was more than $50) for the powder-blue Molitor within a couple days after the giveaway. I'm glad that they tend to sell for more than what I paid back then.
  4. I still think that Crunchy Corn Bran exists. I couldn't find it in Stevens Point but someone at work who lives in Waupaca was picking it up for me on occasion about 6 months ago.
  5. I'd recommend trying dill pickle chips if you haven't. I think my all-time favorite chips are Old Dutch Dill Pickle chips...they seem to be packed with way more flavor than almost any other chip I've had. mmm....chips "Chips aren't for tasting...their for eating." - a quote from my buddy Jeff, and words to live by
  6. These guys must be on the starting roster for the area where the movie "The Hills Have Eyes" was supposed to take place...
  7. I've had issues watching some recorded DVD's in my DVD player, but when I watch them using my computer's DVD drive they work fine. I think a lot of it has to do with certain types of recordable DVD's being better quality than others. It could also be the type of disc (DVD+R vs. DVD-R).
  8. I had to buy two N64 controllers for a gift this Christmas. I went on eBay and bought two new third-party controllers for around $20. There seemed to be plenty to choose from. I didn't see too many Nintendo brand controllers though, but I was looking for the cheapest I could get since the person I got these for doesn't play the system too often.
  9. If you have a garbage disposal, try grinding up a lemon or an orange in it. I also think that I heard that grinding up ice in the garbage disposal works, but I have no idea why that'd be any better than running water.
  10. I considered waiting to buy tickets on eBay, but I figured with the game being against the Cubs all those darn Cubs fans will be throwing money at those tickets like they're going out of style. I figured I'd have to spend around $100 for a terrace-level ticket for just Opening Day, so I might as well buy a 9-pack (the weekend plan includes 2 other Cubs games which should be easy to sell to pay off the difference).
  11. I remember this one too...what a great game. "Back to back jacks by D. Jacks!"
  12. Are the husband and wife actors in the movie? So they would go to watch the movie that they are in...in the movie he strangles his wife...and the leave the theater together because he strangled her in the movie?
  13. was the woman alone when she died?
  14. prior to her death is the woman listening to the music? playing the music? is the music being performed live in-person? or is the music playing over a radio?
  15. Yes, please keep on going. I promise not to cheat this time!
  16. I did the same thing. I found it on 3 or 4 different sites, with similar answers on each site. Imho, the answer is a bit far fetched and ridiculous. I had to google it too. There were many other questions that had just as crazy of solutions...
  17. Was the guy's life so bad that he ate one bite of that food and thought "nothing will ever be better than this bite of food" so he figured he'd end it all? Was the food really "to die for"?
  18. It's part of their expanded basic package, but you need the digital receiver to get it. So if you currently have the digital receiver and get the channels above around 15 you should get the MLB Network on Charter.
  19. I know this will never happen, but I think it would be kind of cool if a team could only sign a free agent that they have an available draft pick for? For example, the Yankees signed Sabathia and he was a Class-A free agent so that takes away their 2009 first-round draft pick. In this new imaginary system they could not sign any more Class-A free agents this year. They could sign a Class-B free agent and give up their 2009 second-round pick, but they couldn't sign another Class-A free agent until next off-season. This would prevent one team from signing too many big-name free agents and would make teams like the Yankees really think about which player they really want instead of going after all of them. Of course the players' union would never stand for this because it'd probably keep salaries from going up as fast since players would have fewer team choices to go to, but I think it would throw a nice twist into the process plus it would prevent situations like the Brewers might have this year.
  20. If you are only going to use the laptops for internet use and light applications (like word processing) you should be able to get a laptop for around $400 + tax. If that's all you are really using it for you should be fine with 2GB of RAM.
  21. I'm not taking too much stock in it either...just thought I'd mention it.
  22. I heard an interesting story today regarding CC. A friend of mine at work came up to me today and said that a girl that hangs out with the guy that sits next to him went to Las Vegas for this weekend. She called the guy that sits next to my friend and asked if he's heard of some CC that played on the Brewers (she obviously doesn't follow sports). Anyway she said that she and her friend were out at a club and met some baseball players and hung out with them last night...one of them being CC and the only other one I heard was an AJ in the Dodgers organization. It sounded like they had plans to meet up tonight as well. My first thoughts were that it probably was some imposters posing as atheletes to pick up chicks...it probably happens all the time in Las Vegas. But then I remembered that the Winter Meetings are in Las Vegas (next week, right?) so I thought it might have really been CC. If this is true, I find it interesting that he's hanging out with at least one of the Dodgers players.
  23. I forgot to mention my favorite at Taco Bell...the Grande Soft Taco. It was part of the value menu, and I think it was the only item that did not get moved over to the regular menu when the Why Pay More menu came out a few months back. It was a good amount of food for under $1.50. I was very disappointed when it was no longer available but I found out that while it is not on the menu, you can still order it.
  24. I remember that burger very well. It was probably the best fast-food burger I ever had .I was discussing this burger with some people from work a couple of months back and couldn't remember the name but that's the one. I think it was eventually turned into the Monster Burger (which was equally as good, but just in a traditional burger shape), and now the Monster Thickburger (which is OK, but my least favorite of all three since I'm not a huge fan of the Thickburgers). Another top burger in my book was Hardees' Mushroom Swiss Burger. Near the end of this burger's existence I found out that for a nominal fee they would put two slices of cheese and extra mushroom sauce on. That was an awesome find...the burger would just slide out on the bun it would be so lubricated with greasy goodness. Again, I preferred the original Mushroom Swiss Burger over the new Thickburger version.
