  1. Bucks take the Badgers' Jon Leuer with their second round pick. Interesting selection. I'm curious if Jon will be a 3 or 4 in the NBA.
  2. You mean these guys? Everyone was taking pictures of them, Red Sox and Brewers fans alike. They were like the Beatles. Oh yeah, that's them. I got my photo with them too.
  3. I really enjoyed Easy A. Hot Tub Time Machine is also streaming. For those who regularly stream movies on Netflix, make sure you visit instantwatcher.com . That site lists all of the movies currently streaming and breaks them down by category.
  4. I posted this in yesterday's In-Game Thread, but I'll repost here. With the exception of the '08 playoff game I attended, this was the best Brewers experience I have had. Tons of Brewers fans all over. The ballpark is great and Boston fans are the most intelligent I have come across. Fantastic time, and should be on everyone's 'must do' list. I saw a Yankees/Rangers game at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday, and Fenway is a 10x better experience. Anyone see the four Brewers fans dressed in 1982 gear, complete with short shorts, tight t-shirts, and striped socks? A couple of guys had awesome 80s style facial hair. They looked like they came out of a time machine. They were a massive hit with the Boston fans.
  5. Sitting at Logan, awaiting my 5am flight home. With the exception of the '08 playoff game I attended, this was the best Brewers experience I have had. Tons of Brewers fans all over. The ballpark is great and Boston fans are the most intelligent I have come across. Fantastic time, and should be on everyone's 'must do' list.
  6. You've used that term twice in this in-game thread. Please stop. It's inappropriate.
  7. His interview with Mark Concannon on FS Wisconsin was something special too. At the end, he yelled, "I gotta go" and ran off. Like was mentioned earlier, I can understand why fans of other teams would dislike Nyjer. I think he is great.
  8. Prices for flights have dropped dramatically. I'm flying out on Tuesday and returning on Saturday. Price of non-stop round trip tickets from MKE are $183. I've seen them as low as $178 in the past two weeks.
  9. Not the greatest numbers from Austin Ross (5 2/3 innings, 9 hits, 3 ER, and 2 wild pitches) this time around. I want to chalk it up to him being pushed into the starting role. His overall stats are still very impressive. Through 55 innings, Austin has a 1.96 ERA with 53 strikeouts and has only given up 40 hits.
  10. I thought of this thread when reading that 75% of Joplin was leveled by tornadoes over the weekend. Are you still in WI?I echo the sentiments. Check in please. Let us all know you are okay.
  11. If I may, I'd like to make a plea to my fellow brewerfan.netters... Can we have one IGT without any negativity, pessimism, whining, or knee-jerk reactions? Those who do not like Carlos Gomez have already made their feelings known. Must I read about it multiple times in every IGT? The pessimism is annoying too. As yesterday's game showed, it ain't over til it's over.
  12. The only thing that game was missing was an elaborate home run celebration as Prince touched home plate. http://milwaukee.brewers....5023025&topic_id=8878756 Watch the TMJ feed. The camera starts shaking making it appear as Prince made the whole stadium rock after he hit the home run.
  13. I may have missed it, but is Kottaras injured or playing poorly in the minors? Why not bring him back up so Wolf can have his personal catcher back?
  14. I'll still take the memories of CC and the 2008 season Over Brantley and LaPorta at this point of their career.
  15. If you are a fan of Randy and Jason Sklar's podcast Sklarbro Country, you get to hear a character named Racist Vin Scully. The guy who does the voice (Chris Cox) is spot on with his impression.
  16. Since I am a 3rd shifter, I always look forward to west coast games. Here's to a Brewers victory.
  17. What city are you in?
  18. If all of those options don't work, you can purchase a program called Copytrans. When I purchased my new CPU, I was able to transfer everything on my IPod onto the new computer. It was quick and easy. Mostly everything transferred. There might have been a few album artworks that did not. I think it costs something like $30. Definitely worth the money to save you from the time and headache of starting over.
  19. I know I don't have much to trade, but I thought I would give it a shot. Here is my trade list. 20. Anyone have a list of all the bobbleheads the Timberrattlers have given away? I'm looking for the entire list, and not just the ones since they became a Brewers affiliate. This is what I have thus far. I know they gave away Harold Baines among others. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 8/21/02 Shin Soo Choo 8/03/03 Fang (pointing) 6/25/05 Fang (calling shot) 6/24/06 David Ortiz[/b] 6/21/08 Bratzooka Fang 8/09/08 John Anderson (ESPN) 4/09/09 Bernie And Fang (handshake) 9/03/09 Brett Lawrie 4/08/10 Bernie And Fang (lawn chair) 6/13/10 Fang (Napa Racecar) 9/02/10 Jake Odorizzi 4/07/11 Scooter Vs The Snowman 8/29/11 TBA (Fan's choice)
  21. In no particular order: 4 Horsemen. My favorite incarnation of the Horsemen was Flair, Double A, Brian Pillman, and the man who murdered his family. Dean Malenko was a nice replacement for Pillman. NWO. I wished they would have stopped after the addition of Syxx. A stable of Hogan, Nash, Hall, Dibiase, The Giant, and Syxx (and maybe Bagwell) should have dominated WCW for years. Instead they started adding everyone and their brother. The Dangerous Alliance made up of Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbysko, Bobby Eaton, Madusa, and manager Paul E. Dangerously.
  22. My pet peeve at the game is when I hear the guy behind me say something like, "Suppan sucks. I could pitch better than him." No, you can't. You have a 46 inch waist and I saw how out of breath you were walking up 20 stairs.
  23. If there was a like button on this message board, I'd click it here. Another outstanding outing by Wolf.
  24. So what you are saying is that you want True to my Crew since 82" in blue?
