  1. I totally get the name of the game is clicks and journalistic integrity is all but dead. But man it’s still irritating and frankly disappointing when he darn well knew what he was doing on today of all days. Integrity is all but dead.
  2. 38 min to go. They could still get Thor for Grisham straight up.
  3. I like the way you think. TROTW This deal stinks out loud. And you would know something about stinky deals, Sal.
  4. Pomeranz has been K'ing a ton of dudes this year too. Been getting hit pretty hard though. Has given up a lot of homers.
  5. Bio-pics are usually a good bet to both draw well at the box office and generate Oscar buzz. La Bamba, Ray are others that come to mind in just the music genre.
  6. Ramsey might be my favorite TV villain of all time. Thing is the actor who plays him is the nicest dude in the world. Crazy to see interviews of him.
  7. We just started watching B99 a few months ago and I can't believe it took us that long to start. Great show. Another one we just started is Veep and I also can't believe I didn't watch it earlier. Absolutely hilarious.
  8. I'm gonna pump the brakes on a Yamamoto breakout until he has a bit of sustained success. He may be a gem but it's gonna take more than two really nice starts to prove that.
  9. Hardly anyone was skeptical of Hiura, and no one thinks those three are shoo-ins to be anything.
  10. Both Diaz and Harrison have pretty severe home/road splits (they are both way better at home). Odd since the PCL is a hitter's league and New Orleans is probably the least hitter-friendly park.
  11. Make a commitment to get all the way through season 1 of GoT. Takes a bit to get all the families and characters straight.
  12. Yelich last 162 games: 52 HRs 136 RBI 30 SBs, 4 CSs .335 AVG
  13. I really liked Westworld but it can be really confusing at times. Season 1 is definitely worth your time.
  14. We also like to separate politics from entertainment. Please no more politically tinged posts. We do have a political board for those so inclined: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/brewerfanpoliticalscene/
  15. I feel the same about House of Cards. The first season was incredible and they've just gone downhill since then. I didn't even watch last season. I guess you could say the same about True Detective. Season one was an all timer, season two really stink and season three was pretty good.
  16. The Wire is arguably the best TV show ever. It's on most critics top five lists of best all time.
  17. Also because people are easily amused.
  18. So Game of Thrones.... Any thoughts? Use the buttons.
  19. The sheer stupidity (& selfishness) of the parents literally boggled my mind numerous times & just when you think they couldn't possibly be any dumber they go & do something even more idiotic. And totally do not redeem themselves (had Dumb and Dumber on my mind from earlier in the thread)
  20. Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix is insane.
  21. My fiancee just discovered Cheers on Hulu. That show still holds up after all this time.
