  1. If there is anything positive to come of this it's that. We are going to face that someday and we need to be more prepared than we are now. This might be the wake up call needed to get our house in order for the day when a major killer disease comes knocking. I worry that all the social distancing will do what it's supposed to and next time people won't think they'll have to do it because "It was no big deal."
  2. Fade to Black - Metallica Reign in Blood - Slayer Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden OK, hardcore dudes feel free to mock me
  3. So does a shortened season help or hurt Brewers pitching? I didn't think Woodruff was going to top 180 IP but now looks like that won't matter.
  4. I'm sure they talked to health department and got a recommendation.
  5. My wife works at a very large hospital in Chicago. They just got a notice that there is a critical shortage of certain swabs used to test for the flu so instead of using two like you usually do, you are asked to use one. This is the whole point of flattening the curve so the healthcare system is not strained. It's already being strained and we are just at the beginning of this thing.
  6. Well we sports fans should have lots of time on our hands now to figure this out
  7. There isn't a reason to panic but there is a reason to be concerned. Getting info from TV News and TV doctors probably isn't wise. As mentioned above, the real issue isn't the mortality rate from the virus itself but from everyone getting it within a short period of time thus inundating our healthcare system. Italy's hospitals are bursting at the seams right now.
  8. I used to show Three Days of the Condor in an Intro to Film for Non Majors class. They all hated it but thought it was cool The Three Eyed Raven was in it.
  9. He was great in Minority Report too. And, of course, as the Three Eyed Raven.
  10. RIP Brewmeister Smith from Strange Brew
  11. Good point. 16 - 5 since he started playing.
  12. And I think they were a 4 before the game yesterday.
  13. The whole Hauser transfer saga seems like a million years ago.
  14. Jeez, while I'm busy queueing up that video Wisconsin goes on a 10 - 0 run
  15. Another great game from 2011. UW down by 15 in the second half and Jordan Taylor almost single handedly leads the comeback against #1 OSU for the win.
  16. Indiana's only offense all year has been offensive rebounds.
  17. I agree there's a strong chance this is what it is...and I find it gross. I've found lindbloms stuff to be very underwhelming, and hitters seem to find it very hittable. And I've made my stance on Anderson extremely known. I hope those 2 find their way to the bullpen by mid may Are you basing the Lindblom take on the 10 innings he's thrown this spring?
  18. Lakers have double the free throw attempts of the Bucks. That's the difference in th game right there.
  19. That Final Four team was 8 - 8 in conference play. The year Soderberg was head coach they went 9 - 7 (18 wins overall). Ultimately I was fine with letting Soderberg go, but that Final Four team was kind of lucky to get as far as they did. They had great matchups the whole tournament.
  20. I'm glad he maxes out his 401K
  21. This might be my favorite non conference game ending of all time. Start it at 3:39:
  22. Annnnnd back down 1000 points today so far. Real see-saw action these days.
  23. Played like junk and still won by 15.
