At the time Reid was 2nd youngest head coach in the league and had never had a job above QB coach. I think Wolf like Rhodes fire and brimstone style. -
The only beef I've done sous vide is a chuck roast, and it came out incredible. Mostly followed this recipe: https://skillet.lifehacker.com/how-to-make-chuck-roast-taste-like-prime-rib-1824215335 Chicken thighs and pork loin are my go-to's for meal prep. So easy and re-heat so easily. I did a NY Strip in the Sous Vide and then finished it in the cast iron pan. Key is to slather each side with mayo before you sear. Turned out great.

McCaffrey isn't a prototypical running back though. He is used so much in the passing game. He's kind of like an H back that is also elite at running the ball. Still, I'm sure he's taken a pounding and I'd be surprised if he lives up the this contract. Wonder what the Packers will do with Aaron Jones? Trade him to Houston for like 7 picks maybe

This qualifies as good news! Congrats!

Panthers extend McCaffrey - 4 years, $64 million

I could see a scenario where they open things up regionally. I doubt everyone from Milwaukee will travel up to Rhinelander because the bars and restaurants are open there. Maybe people with second homes.

I read something that the people that live in the vacation towns year round are really worried the vacationers are going to bring the disease with them. Michigan has 4th highest death rate per capita. Tough situation to deal with....not sure what I would do if I was the governor. It’s one thing to ban vacationers, but property owners? I think I’d want a refund on my property taxes. I think that'd be a fair compromise.

Once again, if everyone got the flu within a 6 week time period we'd be hosed. It does not spread as fast as this does hence why it's over a 5 month period and our healthcare system can easily handle it. This is not the flu.

Doesn't all of this data cited here rely on equal testing rates, though? What are the number of tests conducted in Iowa vs. Wisconsin? And date of first case. If you didn't get a case until mid March you probably benefited by overall diminished travel.

Friend of mine takes it for Lupus. She said the price has been jacked sky high.

Models are revised as new data comes in. Models are being revised downward because the social distancing is working.

Oral history of the trade that was and then wasn't: https://www.mlb.com/news/featured/wilmer-flores-changed-baseball-history-by-crying Moving this thread temporarily back to the MLB forum so people can relive the drama.

I can't really watch anything "good" because we only have one TV and my wife will fall asleep within 15 min. She did make it through Knives Out and Jojo Rabbit without a problem though Would like to catch up on some stuff eventually. We saw Booksmart the other day and I thought it was really good. It will never appear on Criterion but it's pretty dang funny.

The IHME model is seen as "best case" and it's no wonder that certain people in positions of influence are touting it. A lot of people consider it's assumptions flawed. Namely: The creator of IHME’s model, Christopher Murray, said many state models assume that social distancing will only slow or reduce transmission to some degree. The IHME model, drawing from the example of Wuhan, assumes policies such as social distancing and stay-at-home orders, can effectively reduce transmission to the point where an epidemic — at least in its first wave — is actually brought under control by authorities Best to use multiple models like most states are doing. Even the guy that created IHME agrees: “What we’ve learned from 30 years of weather forecasting, even Netflix predictions for movies … you make better predictions when using multiple models.”

I think this was a trial balloon that was leaked to gauge sentiment. I doubt there's baseball in May. June? Maybe.

Which models are you referring to?

I find the John Krasinski videos a welcome break but I do wonder where the revenues are going (there are ads in the videos). Has he setup a non profit?

Yeah just take a walk down Division yesterday and it was just as crowded as any walking or biking trail would have been.

I don't think MN has done extensive testing.

The drafts are about as fun as watching paint dry even in the current environment. I disagree. Yeah, it's slow moving, but people are going to want to glob onto anything that is actually live and non COVID-related, and not streaming on Netflix. People are going to watch the heck out of the draft, in whatever form it takes. yeah I don't watch the draft to hear Jets fans boo

Lean on Me, Just the Two of Us, Ain't No Sunshine, Lovely Day.....just a wonderful singer who quit the biz rather than sign unfair contracts with producers. Made more money in real estate than he did in music. Really interesting and talented guy.

Thanks for the heads up. Not sure what we will be able to do but I'll forward to the other mods.
