  1. I sure hope so. They have 4 games left they should win easily ( Colts, Titans, Cardinals, Jags). If they go 4 - 0 in those and split with the Bears that's a 10 win season. I don't think they miss the playoffs with 10 wins in the NFC but who knows. They could certainly choke away one of those 4 easy ones. I saw a rumor they were trying to trade for Stafford which, IMO, would make them pretty scary but I don't know if the Rams will do that now that they are back to full strength.
  2. When I first looked at the FG% improvement since 2000, my thought was "more domes." Teams that moved from outdoor to indoor since 2000 (I count retractable as "indoor" ): LA Rams, LA Chargers, LV Raiders, Dallas, AZ Cardinals, Houston (expansion). Maybe it's due to domes but seems like weather wouldn't impact a lot of these teams anyway.
  3. FG% year by year in the NFL. Using only the chart below, guess when they moved the XP to the 15-yard line:
  4. Wyatt is back at practice.
  5. RIP Fernando Valenzuela Below are his first 8 starts of 1981 (last year the Dodgers and Yankees met in the World Series). Fernandomania was no joke.
  6. I also think retaining Hook is a no-brainer but I will say that people thought the world was gonna end when Derek Johnson left to become pitching coach for the Reds and the world still exists.
  7. I am pretty sure Valentine was hurt. Unless i heard "Ballentine".
  8. Sounds like they might give that Italian kid, Ricardo Greppi, some minutes at Center presumably.
  9. The Niners (and Purdy) are a totally different team with McCaffery. Mason is a very good runner but he isn't much of a threat in the passing game. They were missing their top 3 WRs and a HOF caliber running back yesterday. Maybe the Packers 4th and 5th string guys are better but If Love was missing Reed, Watson, Doubs and Jacobs he'd probably have a tough go of things. Their offense, though, is built on play action and one elite thing KC has is an elite run defense.
  10. I know people outside of NY/LA might be annoyed, but I like it. First time they've met in the World Series in 43 years, the two best players in the game...bring it on.
  11. Agreed. They can't complete a pass more than 20 yards downfield yet move the sticks and win.
  12. This year they aren't elite. They aren't going to go undefeated.
  13. i don't think so. Deebo was sick and Aiyuk hurt his knee. Their luck will run out at some point. Not saying they are bad or anything but they aren't an elite team historically
  14. and he misses an extra point because of course he does :)
  15. I thoight he hooked it lol
  16. Doubs showing some hands today. wow
  17. would love a turnover here
  18. why didn't they go for two?
  19. small market energy
  20. I think success in the XFL (or USFL or UFL or whatever it's called) translates better than college
  21. This. Watt has 11 pressures and 4.5 sacks. Garrett has 14 and 4. Gary has 7 and 1. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2024/defense_advanced.htm (as an aside, Hutchinson had 28 pressures and 7.5 sacks. Goes without saying but that is a HUGE loss for DET)
  22. Browns did pretty well considering they gave up like a 5th and a 7th for Cooper I think. Rare to see a guy traded twice in the NFL these days and appreciate in value.
