  1. that better not be roughing
  2. that was a predictable play call MLF had been good until that point
  3. to me to cold doesn't impact you mentally as much as it impacts the stuff you can't practice - catching and throwing a ball in sub freezing temps is just different
  4. Gary is in the verge of a good game. He is getting a great push tonight. Looks like the old Gary
  5. I think Jacobs is a lot better suited to cold weather than Jones. I love Jones and I wish we still had him + Jacobs but as a lead back JJ is just better for that style of play.
  6. I don't care how boring the play is, if you can't make it through an act without looking at your phone you have a problem
  7. The Lions are the best team in the NFL.
  8. That NFC Championship game between Philly and DET is going to be epic
  9. It's John Tonje's world
  10. it's nice to win 38 - 10 and know you didn't play all that great
  11. the last few min of Cowboys and Commanders has been nuts crazy slate of games so far.
  12. tough stretch coming up they've got Pitt, Marquette, Illinois and Michigan all before Dec 10
  13. I think buying out Fickell would be worse than giving him a other year I'd let it ride one more season.
  14. James Thompson has been upgraded to questionable. Sounds like he may play before the end of the season.
  15. UCF beat Texas A&M who were ranked 13th preseason. Good win.
  16. Honestly thought the D was playing much better when Quay out with injury. Speaking of injury, is about time to cut bait with Alexander?
  17. UW's defense is a limiting factor and probably interior defense to be specific. UTRGV shot 60% on two-point attempts against UW. Against Creighton they shot 45% on two point shots. One game doesn't tell the whole story obviously (and maybe they made all mid range jumpers) but I think UW may struggle against teams with strong inside games.
  18. The way I look at it is if you are a youngish coach who wants to learn and advance your career this is a pretty darn good place to do it.
  19. I give him credit for avoiding sunk cost fallacy.
  20. I believe I saw that it was a coin flip
  21. I think they miss Jones on O. more because of his versatility. Jacobs has been better than I thought he'd be but he's more or less a between the tackles guy. Jones could run more of a route tree and get outside. I think the defense had to pay more attention to him which maybe opened things up for other guys.
  22. not making excuses but I don't think a lot of what the Bears did on offense was on tape.
