I deleted a few posts regarding race. Let's keep that out of the discussion. Thanks.

Dude! Where have you been??? -
It Follows A classic, low budget, American horror film. Minimal gore but a lot of tension. It's about a young woman who receives a "follower" hell bent on killing her. This is what low budget horror should aspire to be. Really well done with a terrific soundtrack. Harkens back to the early days of the Halloween franchise. Available on Netflix DVD and Amazon Instant.

http://m.mets.mlb.com/news/article/139574188/mets-acquire-carlos-gomez-from-brewers Crap. they edited it. Like 5 minutes ago they had the same story on the Mets page.

The MLB trade deadline is fun.
-
The REAL reason Wes Helms fell comes to light.
-
That makes no sense at all. My guess is that the Wheeler physicals looked bad, but who really knows at this point? So they did a physical in 20 minutes?
-
Wonder if Alderson was ticked about the trade getting leaked?
-
I would trade Bernie for Mr. Met.
-
Alderson is adamant. No trade with Brewers.
-
Uh now Alderson is saying there is no trade.
-
Mench was 28 years old. Flores is 23. Not even close.
-
Who replaces Lucroy? Right now, it's Maldonado (.523 OPS), Centeno (.589 OPS - in COLORADO SPRINGS), or Weisenburger (decent OBP at AA, but getting older) in-house, meaning the Brewers go on the free-agent market for... who? Trade for a prospect?
-
Wheeler was the #5 prospect in all of baseball prior to the 2013 season. TJ is not a death sentence. Shoulder problems would be a much bigger deal. Heck Adam Wainwright missed 2011 with TJ and in 2013 he was second in the Cy Young balloting.
-
You would hope that a prospect would turn into something too.
-
We got a potential front of the rotation starter. Yes he's hurt but plenty of guys come back from TJ and are just fine if not better. Flores is a change of scenery guy. I think he might flourish in Milwaukee. Was a very nice prospect in the minors and is only 23.
-
I really like this deal. There I said it.
-
Uh, Drew Storen is arguably better. Not sure why the Nats made this move unless it's to bring in Pap as a setup man.
-
Felt this was warranted given the recent subject matter in this thread.

Free Ignacio Otano!

Orimoloye goes yard again. Be nice if he had more professional walks than I do, but I'll take the SLG as a nice consolation prize.
