  1. I actually wouldn't mind a rotation of Gallaro, Fiers, Estrada, Rogers, and Peralta (screw lefties! they are weird and freakish) but I also wouldn't complain if the Brewer went and signed a guy via free agency as long as the deal was short term or front loaded. But it always seems like the Brewers have to add on an extra year to get anyone to sign with them.
  2. I don't think losing him hurt the Crew at all. In fact, it may have helped. Ramirez alone is almost matching Prince's numbers.
  3. Thanks, Igor. If I owned a home I would get an outdoor model but I'm still in an apartment so need to go the indoor route.
  4. I'm done with cable TV. Anyone have an HD antenna? My limited research shows the Mohu brand to be pretty well reviewed. Anyone have any suggestions?
  5. A clutch poster would not have allowed this to get off topic.
  6. If you go to JSOnline people STILL want him traded or DFA'd.
  7. Lose games to improve draft position is also pointless in baseball....unless you have the first like three picks in the draft.
  8. It's better to be wrong on a guy a year early and let him walk than a year too late.
  9. Draft is supposed to be really weak next year anyway.
  10. Thornburg with 7K's through 3 innings. And it looks like Bucci is back on track after the injury. Nice to see.
  11. He's also a guy with a significant history of arm trouble. I have no problem with how they are handling him. If you want to point to the moment they "gave up" its when they traded Greinke.
  12. Jose Pena is an extra base hitting machine.
  13. I don't see how it's your fault he found people with temp jobs. You aren't subletting are you? If not then he can go pound sand I would say.
  14. I would not have a problem with that but I'd be willing to bet the Brewers bring in some veteran guy in free agency or via trade. Plus I don't think they want a starting five of all righties even though I don't see it being that big of a problem as long as they can get left handers out.
  15. Apparently this is a done deal per Twitter.
  16. I don't know if we have enough evidence to say if Estrada will continue to give up dingers or not. What we do know is that he strikes out a lot of batters and doesn't really walk that many. I would not be upset to see him in the rotation because I doubt that Peralta would beat his numbers but if you put Peralta in there and stuck Estrada in the pen as a long man it wouldn't be the end of the world either. But frankly, I think Estrada has earned a shot to start every fifth day.
  17. Grace will probably need one of his famous slump busters after this episode. Yikes.
  18. Minus Coultier? He's 1 for 2 with a BB and 2 RBI's. I'd like to see more power out of him, but I suspect the 6'3 220 pound former HS State Wrestling Champ will add the power. It's awesome to see him hit for some average and draw some walks though. Houle was in the box score before. Just look at the quote. I'll back you up on this. I checked the box score before hitting the hay last night and Coulter was not on there in the early going.
  19. I didn't know former Brewer, Brad Nelson, played for Round Rock.
  20. This made me laugh probably harder than it should have.
  21. I'm just happy he's healthy.
  22. Other than his increased home run rate, Wolf was about the same as he had been the previous two years. GB% was up, K rate was up.....340 BABIP killed him.
  23. Go Leeds! They usually stink, right? I want to pick an underdog.
  24. Scooter has been on fire recently. Another dinger tonight. And Cam Garfield has had a great year for the T-Rats. Great to see him bounce back.
