    Garrett Mitchell might be the greatest player in baseball history.

    She got some of the biggest cheers. She didn't really have any long solos but hit the crazy fills on Tom Sawyer perfectly. They had a few video tributes during the show featuring Neil and Geddy talked about him at length near the beginning of the show.

    Even if that worked, it's not feasible given the scale of the forest in Canada. That country is 40% trees. 9% of the world's total forest. Almost 1 million square miles.

    They absolutely do controlled burns. Do they do enough of them? Who knows but they 100% do them.

    I think there are too many holes for this to be a "go for it" year. The franchise is set up really well the next 3 - 5 seasons. Maybe in a year or two you make a big splash but this doesn't feel like the year to do it. Yes, I know they are in first place and 2nd best record (or whatever it is after the Pirates series) in baseball

    Dang. He looked pretty good. Obviously needs to get on the Giannis workout routine or he'll have trouble finishing around the rim but the 3 pt jumper looked good and so did the midrange game.

    Yeah people remember that but can anyone remember who we gave up to get Gio Gonzalez (who went 3 - 0 in 5 starts and had a 2.13 ERA in 25.1 innings for the Brewers)? The priciest pickup, both in terms of payroll and prospects, was Gonzalez, a decorated 11-year veteran who is struggling towards the end of his contract. After finishing sixth in National League Cy Young Award balloting last season with a 2.96 ERA in 32 starts, Gonzalez is 7-11 with a 4.57 ERA, including 1-5 with a 6.55 ERA since the All-Star break and 1-4 with a 7.47 ERA in August.

    It's weird where I live, because I'm near the lake and there's often fog but its usually not yellow. I haven't been outside during this latest round of fires but what was so disturbing the last time was you could smell smoke. I don't ever recall being able to smell smoke from Canada at any point in life before that.
