  1. Fanrag editor Stokke just stated it was due to Sale not liking the throwback uniforms and then heproceeded to cut up all the uniforms
  2. Just my speculation, but considering we have been scouting the Giants AAA team, if Luc is dealt without Will Smith, Will might be going to Giants for catcher Andrew Susac
  3. twirly, the "Buster Olney" that posted that trade has 30 followers and has this as his twitter profile setting... Serious bowel movement issues. Amateur birdwatcher. Yes, I live with my mom. *Not the real Buster Olney. Parody.*
  4. Morosi just said Sale's situation is not an illness.....in my opinion he either is being held out due to a possible deal or Sale is upset over his name being in talks without being notified
  5. Zimmer, Bradley, Sheffield for Lucroy and Smith is my best guess of what I think is going to happen.....
  6. The comment regarding Erceg's d being awful is extremely short sighted....Erceg had a stellar defensive rep and the infields in the Pioneer league are known for being pathetic
  7. Am idst that story on the Helena ejections, I thought it interesting that Michael Petersen can bring some serious gas with 95 and 96 on the radar gun for the 2 hbp's....listed at 6'7 and 195
  8. I think it is pretty obvious that the Brewers are requiring a top 50 prospect in the deal instead of volume..."getting creative" refers to wanting to not deal their top guys yet getting Luc oh, and awesome stuff Split...not sure why you have gotten guff lately, you always bring the goods with common sense and passion - a great combo
  9. Why are people down on Bradley? 7th in a hi A in ops in Hi A at 20 is phenomenal...that guy is a must in my mind in any deal....Sheffield, Bradley and a 3rd piece works for me
  10. Gabe Garcia now 9 for his last 15 with 5 extra base hits among them. He was a highly regarded catcher in 2015, sporting one of the best pop times for a catcher that year....would like to see that remain in his tool belt at the very least as he moves up the line
  11. Interesting story about Yan Gomes and how he came to be the son in law of former all star Atlee Hammaker http://www.sfgate.com/giants/article/For-Atlee-Hammaker-more-ball-in-the-family-5428192.php
  12. Steven Adams was voted 2nd dirtiest in the pool....boy I would sure hate to have him on the Bucks...(not even sure what color I should put that in) Think back to when duckhead Dunleavy bullied us in that playoff game year before last and pushed Giannis to the point he took himself out of the game with a frustration play....that will not occur this year
  13. Home Games .346 Away Games .215 not a fan of his but he has hit .366 since June 1
  14. Many people here are way too young to remember the amazing playoff series' the Bucks had against the Celtics in the 80's, But Dellavadova reminds me tremendously of a way less dirty version of Danny Ainge. Those who remember those games vs the Celtics may recall Ainge doing 8 or 9 of the things from that Delly "dirty" mix tape in a single series....like Delly, Ainge just outworked people....love the defensive tenacity
  15. A couple of things since I am the foremost Bucks expert on this site: 1. It is looking very likely that Maker is between 21-24 and graduated from a school in Australia in 2010, then did the whole high school thing again like he was Johnny Depp in 21 Jump Street. 2. Maker looks like a completely different human than what he looked like in 2010....he looked incredibly young in those photos and basically emaciated...there is a photo floating around of him from a Utah Jazz workout where he looks incredibly impressive 3. He did dominate competition in HS, not sure what plush is talking about, but then again, he should have. 4. If you look at his videos on you tube, he does what few other 7 footers can do regardless of their age....this guy could be a monster 5. He is very well spoken and seems genuinely nice....however he might be getting steered by a handler that is not so nice...stories have been out there that his current agent/handler has a rep for being unscrupulous and I hope Thon surrounds himself with good people 6. After all these statements that certainly appear to be false, I decree Thon Draper to be the best nickname for him
  16. Ronnie Gideon is on the Helena roster as of today....
  17. Can someone talk me out of the idea of not signing Corey Ray, using that money to sign McClanahan, Clark and others if possible and then having 2 picks in the top ten for the 2017 draft?
  18. thanks for tip homer, though my comment was mainly to throw a reference out there from the past...i will keep a lid on it next time
  19. LOVE the Payton Henry pick..will be a tough sign I think, but I would have been fine with him much higher than this...Utah gets a bit overlooked for players at times due to elevation, but this guy was an animal his junior year especially, leafing his team to a title... Have seen a couple people now label this Brewers draft as the best of any team, with Crawford of BP really going gaga over it... We have the management team in place to take us to very interesting places over next decade
  20. Erceg has been accused of being a bit of a tool and not having much of a brain....having his lid off so to speak https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=lucas+with+the+lid+off&view=detail&mid=E1255E8A4DBA34DAE053E1255E8A4DBA34DAE053&FORM=VIRE
  21. In depth erceg scouting info...not all that flattering at times http://insidethescoutingtrail.news/lucas-erceg/
  22. I actually think Austin Tatious is usually a good poster, but holy crap, give him a day suspension or something on here...he is out of hand...the pick is not the one I wanted, but Ray's BABIP does not make sense...the lowest BA/BABIP ratio I have ever seen...he was hitting in atrocious luck....and 44/44 is not an accident...he is an amazing base stealer
  23. With Swihart out for the season, I feel his value to the Sox is a bit muted, and love the idea of him being part of a package coming back....I always love nabbing players when their value to you is greater than the value to the team that currently has the player
