    To be fair, you have to consider that a pitcher with a WHIP of 1.00 (which I would consider to be very good) still allows one hitter to reach per inning.

    I think Nuk is like "Xerox" or "kleenex". Anyhow, our puppy usually ends up swiping all of his brother's pacifiers eventually, so I suppose that will be the easy solution when the time comes.

    Nobody thought Chris Paul was the best player on the day of the draft. It was either Bogut or Marvin Williams.

    Eh, I think you're reading way too much into it. I don't really see any pattern among the other sausage's names...the Italian is really the only one that falls into the "generic ethnic name" category, and all of them sound like hastily made-up names that were just picked to fit into the song.

    What does "basically yelling" mean? edit: In my experience, any time someone uses words like "basically" or "practically" in that context, it means that they're exaggerating horribly. For example, Shawn Chacon is basically a major league pitcher.

    I really wanted to see him called up in '04, but I guess MVP Chad and Gary the Glove were just too good.     Branyan had a quote a few years ago, referring to some Reds fans that were yelling at him and calling him overrated: "I didn't even know I was rated. How can I be overrated? I couldn't get a job this off-season. Now I'm overrated." He hit 2 dingers in that game, BTW.
