  1. Preemptively switching to Bob and Cory to avoid having to listen to Matty V. and Tim McCarver.
  2. I swear that's the 50th time McGehee has gotten hung up between the bases.
  3. Get there early and stand right behind the plate on the field level. Good view of the section for the families of players. Otherwise, try and get one of the tables as Bikeage77 described. There used to be decent spots around the outfield, but I believe the majority of these have been overtaken by advertisements and promotions. I personally don't have a problem with sitting in an unoccupied seat, as long as you're courteous to the surrounding fans and surrender them quickly if asked. I've even been in situations where the seat owner has showed up, and people around me were nice enough to point me toward other unoccupied seats.
  4. I too was at Wrigley for that game, front row, left field bleachers. If I remember correctly the Brewers jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the first inning, Gallardo was throwing, we were having a great time heckling Soriano in left field who had struck out in his first 2 plate appearances on just 6 or 7 pitches. It all went downhill from there, the Brewers never scored again, and lost on that Ramirez walk off 3 run homer... uggh, I thought it was going to be a great day/night in Chicago.... When that ball came off Ramirez' bat I wanted to disappear, you have to exit through a lot of excited and annoying Cub fans when you're sitting in the front row, definately a walk of shame moment!I was also at that game. Paid way too much for bleacher tickets. Had high hopes after that first inning, but then everything went wrong. Work called me. The Brewers fell apart, capped off by the Ramirez walk-off that resulted in a traditional Wrigley Field Bleachers beer shower. I'll never forget that Ramirez home run trot, I think he ran backwards part of the way up the first base line.
  5. Just looked at our playoff tickets. Our 20 pack is in Section 220 Row 7, and our playoff seats are Section 224 Row 10. This is our 7th year with the 20 pack.
  6. How about a Jack from Yo right here to make up for those Cardinal HRs.
  7. Link doesn't work for me, and I can't find it on the Postereous site. Edit: Looks like it may have been Yuku mangling it. This should work. http://siriusxmsports.pos...closer-discussed-getting
  8. Three words: 1982, never forget.
  9. The Brewers organization has taken the high road and done everything right regarding the fracas of yesterday's game. Now it's time for the office of the commissioner to step up and set the precedent that this nonsense is not tolerated. LaRussa, Molina, and Motte should be suspended and fined.
  10. There's probably 8-10 worse losses this year. At least there weren't any managerial mistakes (that cost them) in this one and it was lack of execution from the players. That's going to happen from time to time, especially with this dreadful defense. Not a badly managed game (I even liked sliding JHJ to 2nd double switch in Morgan), but Corey Hart not bunting in the 8th was a bit questionable.
  11. Will Fukudome and Choo get along?
  12. Video: http://t.co/3s5hW1P
  13. He was tagged three times before got anywhere near the plate. Worst of all, Proctor fell down running to first, so it could have been a double play.
  14. Worst call I've ever seen in my life...
  15. Glad I'm not that one of that young Pirates fan's parents. 1:19 a.m. and still yelling up a storm.
  16. Watched the first two episodes last night. Wasn't expecting the Brewers talk. I like the dark and weird humor, reminds me a bit of the original UK The Office.
  17. Prince sporting a nice one batting glove look tonight.
  18. I thought I was on to something last night by logging out and logging in, but that didn't seem to work tonight. However, logging out, clearing the flash information, then logging seems to have done the trick. I'll report whether I'm still unable to log in using this process.
  19. Nice to see Braun back in the lineup. Here's a radical idea: if Braun can't run, why not put him at third? Would he be worse than Game defensivelyl? It worked for Chipper Jones..
  20. Chat not working tonight, and was having issues last night too.
  21. The danger in this all is when market price drops below what the "face" value would be and the Brewers decide that it'd be better to have empty seats than sell those tickets at a "loss."
