    This team isn't very good.

So I imagine we'll see a different line-up today. Likely Rivera behind the plate (2 days off for Kendall seems like a good idea given how much he's played), TGJ in CF and I'd think Couns will start for either Hardy, Hall or Weeks??

2 Gone. Why do I feel Bow will lead this far only to throw one to the back-stop and WP in the tying run

    Kendall rube bakered that throw

Look at that. Turnbow is clutch on April 23rd. That actually made me feel better for a couple seconds

I think you right Drez. Rivera and Parry have a little history together and you gotta give catchers a little break every now and then. These blackout rules are killing me today. Since there's a Fox Game of the Wekk...MLB Extra Innings can't show any games until 7 (est). So I guess I'll listen to Ueck and Jim. I do love how DirecTV's Extra Innings package is now showing both team's feeds. Thats been a compliant of mine for years.

Wonder if we'll get a Rivera start tonight behind homeplate? Him and Yo are obviously familiar with each other. Miller is still nursing a little soreness and Ned loves to give Johnny back to back days off whenever possible??
  8. SlideBernieSlide
Hall is hitting .361 (13 for 36) against Oswalt with a homer and five RBI and .400 (2 for 5) this season.

That start worked out great last night. Hopefully the same is true today.

Here is tonights Brewers line-up, which will attempt to gain a game on those Cubs 2B Weeks RF Gross 3B Braun 1B Fielder CF Hart LF Jenkins C Estrada SS Hardy P Gallardo

ROY Battle Royale Hunter Pence vs. Ryan Braun next Monday thru Wednesday at Miller Park! Be there!

Houston seems to be pitching a whole lot better since Coop took over. Both Oswalt and Albers threw gems and now Wandy has been solid thru 5. Good starting pitching will cover for a lot of deficiencies.

The Astros took 2 of 3 from St. Louie. If they can do that this weekend that'd be doubly nice

Please tell that the Sheets comeback has made C®appy better. Please Lord Please. I pray Out Loud

He's bat 3rd this inning. Some sort on RBI will suffice for me. Not totally redeemed, yet.
  16. SlideBernieSlide
Not sure bout that. Though Lilly had a nice second the guy is at 55 pitches and its note evn the 3rd yet. Which means the Cubs bullpen should be out and about soon enough.
  17. SlideBernieSlide
Come on, Manny. Kid is all over the place this inning. He's pitching Jason Kendall like he's part of murderers row.
  18. SlideBernieSlide
Woogie. We've missed you. No one can be too busy for a pennet race. Glad to hear your finger tendon thingy and subsequent blister have healed. Now you can work your IGT magic.
  19. SlideBernieSlide
This is the truth. I know RA is a knuckler, but still Dickey likely isn't coming up for a start this week. If Sheets isn't the guy, I imagine Manny starts Tuesday with Villy being called up for Vargas' roster spot and put in the pen.

    so true bbc so true

Go Dbacks! Thats the mantra for tonight.
  22. SlideBernieSlide
hit parade. i think yo might beat claudio's 1st inning mark? what is going on here? a staff that looks great against the 1st place d-backs can't get any of the last place giants out. mind-boggling.
  23. SlideBernieSlide
these old timers are unloading on brewer pitching this weekend.
  24. SlideBernieSlide
The Giants got some excellent starting pitching in that series. Lincecum, Zito and Cain were all very solid. Too bad they couldn't muster another win. Throw in Lowry and its hard not to like the Giants rotation for years to come. But man 1-8. Thats a scary old line-up. The 1996 All-Stars yes, but its 2007 now. Hopefully their pitching deserts them a tad this weekend.
