  2. I'm with Yost on this one. "I'm really excited to see Manny pitch," said Yost. "I'm fired up to see Manny get out there and start a game, from what we've seen so far."
  3. That stunk. Quick dagger to the heart.
  4. A 3 hit game for JJ? Yost, you wily fool, you did know what you were doing forefeiting that game last night.
  5. They threw someone out trying to steal. That never happens! A sure sign that things are a-changing and good fortune is right around the corner.
  6. The two that worry me the most are Hardy and Hart. What's the most number of games they've played in a single season at any level? 18 games in 17 days. Thats a tough stretch. So I don't mind the days off. Just seems like Ned has a propensity to give a lot of the players the same day off. Mix it up a little. For example...Give Hardy a day off against a soft tossing lefty who pounds the outside corner. Against hard throwing lefties yes, play him. But his desire to pull the ball seems to be a hard negative against the Shane Youman's off the world. But play Hart and Braun those days no matter what. Just mix it up. Dave Bush has been nothing but consistent for about 2 months now. Keep it up kid. Besides Soup, I'm actually very pleased with the rotation of late. Capuano has looked like the Cappy of 2005 and the 1st half of 2006 in his last 2 starts. Yo is Yo even when he doesnt have his best stuff...as we saw on Tuesday. Vargas just keeps winning and Bush is riding a wave of quality starts.
  7. I have faith the Brewers can score 4. Pretty sure though the Reds aren't stopping at 4 tonight. Let's go Cardinals
  8. Soup hasnt been close in a half-hour. I thought he might get out of this after that key pitch Griffey. I was wrong.
  9. Bow doesnt have it Ned. Whatcha doing Coach?
  10. Estrada please anything but a tapper back to Weathers
  11. 2 very solid starts in a row from Cappy. Great to see the guy stepping up, especially with Sheeter down.
  12. Why is Ned giving Manny the Dessens treatment? I guess he foresees a short start by either Bush or Soup this weekend? Maybe we'll see Manny for 2 after Wise gets an inning of work? Gross? Wouldn't Nix or Rottino be a better option
  13. Is Gameday up? I seem to be stuck now on Livan at 0-1?
  14. The biggest question...how slow can Livan go. My guess is that his slow curve hits the mid 50s on at least one occassion..maybe 57
  15. Nice game Cappy. Hopefully, the crew can get you this one by pushing a run across here in the 7th. Hope you're back for good this time!
  16. Cappy seems to be losing it a bit. Buckle down, fella. You've been great for 6 and 1/3
