  1. That might be hard to beat. I might take a big swig of whatever beverage I have at the time, and then do a nice fake barf.
  2. Wow I can see it in the eyes! What a difference...
  3. "And if they are...who cares." That's what this whole thread is about. I really can't stand when people say "who cares" when there is already an on-going discussion. Speak for yourself.
  4. Gopher - He meant yearly salary.
  5. I'll probably hang myself if they get swept.
  6. Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, lived there until about 5 months ago. Live in Las Vegas now.
  7. I just stopped working for this employer in December, because the 100% travel just got to be a bit much. But what perks I did get: -I stopped counting after my first year, but that first year I made it to 31 different states, some of them more than once. Florida I hit 7 times that year (Key West 4 times), Texas 4 times, etc. I also got to check out Vancouver and Whistler in BC, where the next Winter Olympics are going to be. My favorite 'business' trip was the trip to Cabo. While there, the equipment that we needed got stuck in customs all week, so I basically had an all expenses paid trip to stay on the beach at a luxury hotel in Cabo. Not too shabby. Other trips that stuck with me: Niagara Falls, Times Square in Manhattan 3 times, The Very Large Array in New Mexico (If you saw the movie Contact you have seen this immense field of satellite dishes), 5+ trips to San Diego, etc. So many more that I have forgotten at the time being. -All of the frequent flier miles that go with the above travel. Not to mention 5+ free tickets due to oversold situations. -All expenses paid rental cars and hotel rooms. -Per diem - went out for sushi or steak just about every night of the week. I also got introduced to Thai food, which is awesome. That's enough bragging for now.
  8. I really liked PNC in Pittsburgh. The first time I went there, I managed to walk up and get 3rd row seats directly behind the Visitors dugout (Brewers) for...wait for it...$35. Face Value. The stadium is gorgeous as well, opening up in the outfield for a great day or night time view of the downtown Pittsburgh area, which blows away the Milwaukee skyline if you ask me.
  9. Someone I've never heard of. What do I win?
  10. Not having any income tax here in Nevada is nice. Not to mention that I haven't needed a winter jacket all winter.
  11. Time for a nice DDOS attack.
  12. Cougars are everywhere, sniffing out deep pockets.
  13. $17K/month on clothes. Let that sink in. $17K per month on CLOTHES.
  14. Is this like bizarro Brewerfan or something? I seem to remember some people here trashing him in the past for making up trades just for the sake of it, like Sheets to the Red Sox, etc.
  15. I think some people are missing the key point of "IF the season started tomorrow". This is not set in stone.
  16. I'm a fan of kayak.com. Like sidestep, it checks multiple other sites for you.
  17. Interesting. This looks promising. Thanks for the link.
  18. I realize that I may be barking up the wrong tree with this question here, but I'm looking for an answer and this is a pretty smart group here. I am looking to set up Dynamic DNS for a total of 4 separate physical locations (across town). Each of the 4 locations are setup for DHCP so a static IP isn't really an option. Each of these locations are setup with security cameras that are monitored on an on-site PC. There is one location outside of the 4 (from here on called HQ) where all of them are monitored remotely via Remote Desktop. Of course, every so often, the IP for each of these sites changes and the HQ loses the connection until the new IP is found. I have my own domain - let's call it domain.net. What I want to do is set up location1.domain.net, location2.domain.net, etc and set them up for dynamic DNS to alleviate this issue. I have been successful in the past in setting up DDNS for an A record, meaning for example domain.net. I have not done it with a subdomain. Is it possible to set up a DDNS client to update a CNAME record? The PCs on each of the sites are running Windows XP if that helps at all. I won't get my hopes up waiting for an answer, but it'd be nice to be pleasantly surprised with some assistance. Thanks in advance.
  19. That's correct Hawing, it must have only been a couple years ago that I got a check in the neighborhood of $100 or so.
  20. "The Latino kids are always skinny." Somewhere, Ruben Quevedo just ate another dozen donuts.
  21. I went to Huntsville and saw him play last year. I was almost shocked at how rail thin he was, Michael Brantley as well. That said, it was plainly obvious that Escobar is an absolute stud with the glove, making plays that he had no business making. He also should be arrested for carrying a gun (his right arm).
  22. What do you mean they don't have enough money? We are talking about the Federal Reserve, the largest counterfeit operation in the world. They can (and seem to) print money if and when they feel like it, damn the repercussions.
  23. Skype is great...I am also a fan of Gizmo. Gizmo, coupled with Google's project GrandCentral, allows me to make and receive calls absolutely free.
