    The thing about them being "backed in the corner" at HIAC is that it's fake. They chose to be backed in a corner. Then they delivered a finish that 2000 WCW would be proud of.

    I like the deal for the A's, but I love Chris Young and I was hoping they would bring Drew back (though hopefully not for his $10 MM option).

    Heath Bell/Cliff Pennington to the D'Backs, Chris Young to the A's, Yordy Cabrera to the Marlins. Love it as an A's fan. Hopefully this means they keep Stephen Drew around, though hopefully not by paying him his $10 million option.

    I just don't like CM Punk enough to buy it. I downloaded it, and I'll probably watch it just because sometimes I like his wrestling, but I think it's no coincidence that they don't draw with him on top. As much crap as Nash got when he ripped on indy/small guys, I think he's correct that Punk is pretty much just a guy (even if he was just trying to get a rise out of people). Sometimes he cuts a good promo, sometimes he has a really good match, but otherwise it seems like there are just a lot of people telling me to like a guy that just isn't anything special. Bryan is 10X the wrestler that Punk is and is a better character, IMO. I'm personally all for giving Ryback a run now. He has the potential to be an actual star. Not one that just a bunch of internet fans (not directed at people in this thread), who don't spend money on the product, like.

    Not to mention that Darvish is going to be a superstar next year provided the usual health caveats that go with pitching. He's a strikeout machine.

    Just get rid of divisions. They're useless since there are those crazy airplane things now.

    Usually, the reason a team "plays over their head" is the bullpen. Same reason why the Reds ran away with the central (as I expected) and why the Orioles were so good. So, it's a fluke in the sense that bullpen performance is difficult to predict, but not really in any other way. They had a run differential around +100, it wasn't like they won all one run games.
