Yeah, that was pre-arranged just like this one was. Jimmer was never going to play in MKE and neither was Dirk.
  2. brettac1
Never mind, I figured it out. Just a little slow on the uptake.
  3. brettac1
Putting the Hammers down tonight. That's been my cheap beer of choice lately.
  4. brettac1
So... they actually have no first rounder?
  5. brettac1
I like the defensive shifts. Everything else, I don't care for. Can't stand his bullpen management, hate the idiotic steal attempts (like yesterday), hate playing for one run in the first inning of a tie game at home, etc. I think he's Yost Jr.
  6. brettac1
The A's. And I half like the Red Sox, typically.
  7. brettac1
It was Stetter's turn to bat and Nieves was the only right handed hitter left on the bench.I still would have preferred Kottaras or Counsell.
  8. brettac1
Fielder had over 100 walks last year and a .400 OBP. That's elite.
  9. brettac1
Why in the world was Nieves hitting?!?!
  10. brettac1
Ax is all over the place, even more than usual.
  11. brettac1
Pete Orr is still in the big leagues? And he tied the game? Wow.
  12. brettac1
Almonte makes the idea of going with 3 catchers when Hart gets back more appealing. At least Nieves won't actually play and hurt the team attempting to hit.
  13. brettac1
It doesn't have anything to do with the losing streak. They're going to have those. It's making stupid moves, whether they work or not is irrelevant - the process is bad.
  14. brettac1
You pretty much have to go with a LHP against Howard, though.
  15. brettac1
Alright, I am officially not a Roenicke fan.
  16. brettac1
Didn't yesterday scream "I need a few days off" for Loe? He was up in the zone the entire time.
  17. brettac1
Oh, my. I seriously think RR is going to force Loe's arm to fall clean off.
  18. brettac1
I don't think walking Kotsay to get to Lucroy is a bad idea. For force purposes it makes some sense.
  19. brettac1
Yeah, Stetter should pretty much not pitch in high-leverage spots.
  20. brettac1
It's just hilarious that he was lifting $10 shirts. I could afford them with the unemployment checks I was getting. Must be more to it than just needing some new clothes.
  21. brettac1
Wow, that was a hell of a break.
  22. brettac1
Prince should really never attempt to throw the ball. Especially when the IF is not drawn in.
  23. brettac1
This is why Loe shouldn't get trotted out there so much. Like in a game with a 6-0 lead.
  24. brettac1
    Ugh.
  25. brettac1
    Marcum's really good.
