  1. Um.... What? As someone else has said, this is ryan putting his money where his mouth is. As i told a friend today, THIS is why he will be beloved in the area long after he is gone. He is the player we(and every other small market team) dreams of having. Loyal to the team and town, and a great player.
  2. Agreed. I remember a few years ago i found them because of this forum. I think Brian started a thread on new music you found or something like that, and it turned me on to them.
  3. Really? Look back in every bucks thread ever and you'll see people show up just to say that. His point was that this is the first bucks thread he could remember specifically for that purpose. Not that individuals didn't come into other threads about the bucks and state their dislike for the sport. Pretty certain the people here who constantly state the dislike for the Bucks aren't going to games/watching games.
  4. Yea, 100 walk hitters are very rare(10 in the last two years), but if he can start getting 75 walks a year, that will solidly put him in the top 25 most years. That's excellent considering where he started his career.

  6. If the right deal comes along, why wouldn't they? If some team(I'm looking at you Baltimore) is dumb enough to offer 2-3 top level prospects and a quality ML player, I'd expect doug to pull the trigger. Now, do i think it will happen? No, not at all. But the possibility remains.
  7. Narveson = ace of the staff. Seriously tho, i'm so happy with his pitching so far. Let's hope it keeps up, him as a #5 looks AWESOME right now.
  8. I'm working in a sports eatery tomorrow(in front of a tv, to boot). Tomorrow's gonna rock.
  9. Makes me sad that we couldn't play all three right now. The Crew is REALLY hot, and i think we would have had no problems in the first game.
  10. Why would you even bother plugging it in to charge? You can go to the store and buy rechargeable AA's with a charger cheaper and then just swap them out as they die. They also work with the Wiimotes. No plugging them in and having a wired controller if the batteries die. Of course the fact that you have to actually buy a charging cable in the first place sucks. Ditto for the Wii. Agreed. I use one of those dual chargers(with the xbox battery pack instead of AAs, but it's the same concept). I just switch them out when one dies. Real easy. But yes, having to buy it in the first place blows. But, I've had them since i got the 360 a few years ago. It's paid for itself several times over, IMO.
  11. i did the same. I missed my live draft entirely, yet still came in 2nd in two of my three leagues. Having Neil Walker be able to play both 2nd and 3rd is awesome.
  12. I was having lunch with my brother today and Hamilton came up in the discussion. He told me he HATES him more than anybody else in baseball currently playing(he even compared him to Sheffield). After hearing about this, i'm starting to get it.
  13. just saw the wootoff. Too bad i have class in an hour. Oh well, hopefully something nice replaces this keyboard that's up right now.
  14. I'd agree with that. Give Gomez a month or so to prove he isn't up for the job, and by that point, i expect Morgan will get the majority of the starts.
  15. I just had a ton of Jalapeno Popper dip. HOLY COW, that stuff is awesome.
  16. Early reports from LaRussa is that it was the classiest appendectomy ever.
  17. I'm actually driving to Roscoe, Il on Saturday to pick up a Canopy Tent for opening day. Rain be darned, I WILL be tailgating!
  18. I'm actually working at a sandwich shop that plays sports on all the TVs, so i'm going to be watching the game, while getting paid. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. Good to see. Hopefully that mentality continues, as i don't see him getting a ton of playing time this year.
  20. If there is one thing I've learned after years of watching baseball is that people who are "in the know", have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to win projections. It's a crapshoot.
  21. My Uconn/KU final is looking pretty good(and my UNC/KU/UConn/Wisconsin Final Four was looking great till yesterday)
  22. Yea, i went to the website itself on my phone, and could access it through there. Not sure on the app itself.
  23. Agreed. I am pretty neutral on Dickerson, but i have noticed a Keith Ginter-like admiration for him on this board. Mitre will be serviceable, and provides depth for both the starting pitching, and long relief. We can always find another backup outfielder. Is he our solution for the rotation? No, but he will be solid for 3-4 innings if someone goes down early in a game.
