From twitter...Brewercom Tyler Barnes #Brewers vs. Braves - Weeks 4 Gomez 8 Braun 7 Fielder 3 McGehee 5 Betancourt 6 Morgan 9 Kottaras 2 Marcum 1 Dear Ron...you are getting there, just please switch Gomez & Tony Plush. -
Phew!!! Nice win...how about .500 by the end of the homestand!
-
Charge that ball Yuni
-
Here's a tip Ron...Phil Cuzzi isn't just the worst umpire in baseball, he hates the Brewers.
-
Geez Almonte...you been watching? Take a strike.
-
This guy may be the slump buster our offense has been looking for.
-
He may not have any plate discipline, but he's the best fielder we have. Nice play Carlos.
-
I'm guessing they view Estrada & Mitre as the only long arms they have. Since neither are exceptional options, they'll probably both be needed tonight. At least they should be able to save the rest of the pen even if one of them melts.
-
Hey Mass...does WSSP have a way to download to iTunes the way ESPN Milwaukee does?
-
They just had Mitre up as the projected starter on the Braves postgame show, but that may have just been speculation.
-
Nice Win for the Milwaukee Gallardos!!! Yo is the man.
-
Note to Prince's next team...have him report to Spring Training in December. Linebrink...still can't stand that guy. Still whining about getting traded from San Diego?
-
Nice hustle Nyjer...sweet.
-
No doubt...that throw had nothing on it. George has some pop in his bat, but his D is concerning.
-
At least that should do it for Lowe. I hope this game ends the Kotsay era...Nyjer should be in there.
-
I'd take less Ks to get him deeper in games like tonight.
-
mlb tv is still on a free trial on the internets. I was thinking the same thing trwi7...Counsell looks so much more at ease out there.
-
Anyone know what the WMLW version is on DirecTV? I only found the FoxSports South version on 741. Still debating...Braves version in HD (maybe with Ueck over the internets) or the pristine picture of WMLW.

Nyjer Take Over!
SoCal Brew Crew Fan replied to Warning Track Power's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I'd probably stick with Gomez until Hart comes back...that should give him the full month, but I'd go with Morgan in the leadoff spot and drop Gomez to 7th or 9th behind the pitcher. Drop Rickie back to 2nd. Kotsay should be released or at least not started. I wouldn't mind seeing more Counsell over Betancourt until they hopefully find another replacement. If they can get Felipe Lopez for a bag of balls, they have to be able to replace Betancourt too. -
well at least the team has better camaraderie this year
-
I can see what Saito was thinking on the pitch to Uggla...how can Prado hit that ball out? This is the kind of meatball that he should hit out...
-
I like that he put in a lot of work and I honestly think his approach at the plate has been different, however his pitch recognition is still terrible and it is going to limit any success he has. He needs to be put down in the order especially when you have Morgan against a RHP which really does fit in the 2 hole. I'd agree. The replay did look like he shortened his swing on strike 3...unlike the coming out of his cleats swings before that, but it was still a good foot out of the zone. He's been chasing that high stuff all day.
-
...and then there's Gomez chasing 2 pitches out of the zone.
-
Now that's what you want from a leadoff hitter...starts 0-2, takes it to 3-2 then gets a hit. Dude is a stud.

From JS Online: The crowd is already fired up, by the way, after 11 Green Bay Packers threw out ceremonial first pitches. They were: Desmond Bishop, Bryan Bulaga, Nick Collins, Tom Crabtree, Ryan Grant, John Kuhn, Tim Masthay, Jordy Nelson, Andrew Quarless, Tramon Williams and Frank Zombo. Weird to hear the "Go Pack Go" song being played here.
