I checked out their site. Looks awesome. Do they ship their frozen pizzas by any chance?
  2. That is hilarious that you were asking around to see if someone was messing with you. Good stuff!
  3. This June, I'll be married for 26 years. But as a mid-40s guy, I've been hit on twice in stores in the last couple of years. In Target, I had paid and was leaving when I passed a woman. As she passed, she looked at me, smiled, and said, "Nice". To which I replied, "Thank you" and kept walking. The other time, I was standing in the spice aisle looking for something and a woman asked what I was making. I replied "chili" and she commented it was nice to have a guy cook. I replied, "My wife thinks so too". So I guess it still happens. CheezWizHed after the lady said "nice." I'm back!!!
  4. Yes, I came here too, wondering if there is any talk of guys coming back. I'm guessing Trice and Potter may leave, and may try to pursue some pro ball over seas? I'm assuming they don't have a place in the NBA, but could be wrong on that. It seems Ruevers may be gone, he made a comment earlier this year saying something like "what am I supposed to do, get a 3rd major?" I totally could see Davison coming back. Not sure what I think of that, but in the long run it's probably better with him on the team. Needs to figure out how to finish a shot in inside the lane! I agree, Davis is really really good. I think he relies on his mid range jumper a lot. When he figures out how to finish more around the hoop, look out. Also, I don't think he has fully understood how athletic he is, and what he can actually do at this level. I can see him dunking on a lot of people in the coming years. I'll miss this group. Didn't realize I would that much until yesterday after the game.
  5. Well my bracket is busted! I had Gonzaga, Illinois, Alabama, Arkansas. I had Illinois winning it all. I thought they'd have their hands full with Loyola but would out last them, being more athletic, and pull away second half. Well that didn't happen. Some awesome games this weekend. How's everyone dealing with the new schedule, having games today?
  6. Tournament thread for 2021. Let's start with who you got in the final four. I haven't started mine yet but will get on it tonight. I'd imagine I'll have Illinois, the've really impressed me this year.
  7. Very cool. Funny guy, seems super outgoing. May have to rein it in a bit at times, but I think he could really do a good job.
  8. Actually I'll watch a lot of live baseball (through MLB.tv). It just won't be live Brewers. I can live with that because I love baseball first and foremost and won't feel too deprived not watching the Brewers live. I've been following the Brewers since 1978 when I was 8. If all I had to satisfy me was the Brewers I'd probably have given up on the sport years ago, which is what I did with the NBA around 1990. I'm an MLB.tv subscriber for many years too. I've been out of market so I get to watch them live. If you're in market, when does the game become available to watch?
  9. I reached out in a chat to YoutubeTV yesterday to ask when they were going to allow the unlimited logins from your house. They didn’t have an answer but I was blown away by customer service. They said they appreciated me reaching out and they value my feedback (standard customer service type line) and they’d like to comp me 2 free weeks of their service. I was blown away. Such a different experience than DTV. Thought I’d share because I really like their service and little things like this can make such a huge difference. Now when they rule the TV market, I’m sure they will tell me to go pound sand, but for now it’s great.
  10. That is expensive but such a game changer for so many people. I hope it works good enough for people to have legit internet.
  11. Oh man, I had one of those experiences a few years back when we moved in to a house in the country during winter. We have two dogs, and I would make sure to do my best to pick up after them. Previous people left multiple target bags of their dog's leftovers for us to pick up. Super fun. I think there are so many more dogs in our neighborhood too. Lots of COVID puppies. We live in a city setting, with small yards, and I find people are very good about picking up after their dogs. I think I only found one or two so far, that I don't think were from our dogs. I'm happy with that. I don't mind picking up after my dog, but for some reason, picking up someone else's dog grosses me out. You'd think it would all be the same.
  12. Man this has been tough the last few weeks. I don't know what's going on. I keep hoping they will get it together for the tournament but they are running out of time. I do think the tournament will be different for them, getting out of the Big Ten, but man, this stretch is not good. Has anyone had the thought that Reuvers has been checked out this year? I loved him the last couple years, but he just doesn't seem like himself. I know the last year has been crazy and some are thriving and some are struggling with the dynamics. I'm not blaming him, just curious if others feel like he's off, too.

  14. Anyone know if you can integrate your existing MLB.tv subscription in to YTTV or do you need to buy through them for it to work? I tried looking briefly the other day and couldn't find anything.

  16. Really great to have baseball back. Excited for Spring Training! Cheers everyone.
  17. This is wild and I can't imagine liking it..... but that's pretty crazy that once you tried it you couldn't go back.
  18. Just finished the Queen's Gambit and I found it to be very entertaining. Who knew, a tv show about chess, could be so fun. There is talk of doing a second season, and as much as I'd love to see more episodes, it might be best to leave it as it was intended. It's a quick watch, as it's only one season, so I'd give it a try if you're looking for something.
  19. I got in the habit of betting against the Brewers, Badgers, and Packers in really big games. I would bet more than I usually would on a single game. If I won my bet, it softened how terrible I felt from my team losing. If I lost the bet I didn’t care because I was so happy about the win.
  20. If you like betting college basketball, make sure you are following Greg Peterson @GUnit_81. He is unbelievable. Not only does he give a line for every NCAA D1 game, he is always helping people to better understand betting/handicapping. He also has a podcast every day. He does handicap MLB as well, but his sweet spot is NCAA hoops, in my opinion. Also, he's from WI. Give him a follow, you'll be happy you did.
  21. Completely agree. I think YTTV/Hulu are essentially becoming the new cable companies. They can offer a cheaper price with no equipment to deal with. They will continue to raise prices as they beat out more cable companies, but they have a good product so many will pay for it. I think the biggest thing is so many people have had bad/terrible customer service experiences with cable and satellite. That can leave a bad taste in your mouth for years. When we moved to our new house a few years ago I had the absolute worst experience with AT&T and DTV (now the same company). First AT&T offered me a buy one get one iPhone X, only to come back a few months later and say that the associate wasn't supposed to offer that and claiming we had to pay full price for both. That went on for 9 months! Somewhere in the middle of that we were transferring our DTV to our new place and it took a total of 8 appointments, that they kept screwing up and or telling me they couldn't install the dish. I even got a tree trimmed which dost $200 something, only to have the next tech come out and tell me he couldn't put the dish there. Awesome! I'm a calm rational person, but I got so worked up on the phone one day that I felt like was going to have a heart attack! Experiences like this are why I can't see myself going back to them ever again. Sorry for the huge rant I think it will be interesting to see how this all shakes out with essentially every tv company/station having their own streaming option. Obviously it's not cost effective to have them all. If you want all the stations, I guess you do your version of cable/YTTV. If you just need a few, then you can have a viable cost saving option. Just seems like something will come of this that's different and better for the consumer.... at least I hope.
  22. I think it's all so ridiculous that we are sitting here in 2021 and there are so many people who can't get access to their local team's games. It really is insane. Streaming is here to stay and the teams/companies that adapt are leading the way. MLB and the regional networks need to get with the times, plain and simple. MLB.tv, as I've said many times, is a great service and I've loved it for many years. So many more people would be enjoying it, if they could figure out the regional aspect. Especially because baseball is such a regional sport! That's the most important part of this whole equation, that baseball is much more unique that way. I'll watch NFL, NBA, College Basketball and Football all day, but I rarely watch other baseball games except my team. They should be able to look at simple numbers and know that. Completely leaving a customer base out of the equation, unless they get cable or satellite (who I think have also had play of battles with regional sports channels) is just bad business overall. Take care of your fan bases!
  23. That’s my guess. I’m a YTV person too and I’m still holding out hope. Fortunately for me I’m out of market so MLB.tv works for me. I miss out on Twins games, which I enjoy watching but not the same as missing out on Brewers. My work around is I use my parents cable login for the foxsports go app. So if you know someone with cable ask if you can maybe give them some cash to use their login. I feel like YTTV has to be gaining more and more subscribers and therefore more bargaining power. I just think Sinclair has no clue and won’t get to with the times and realize they are the ones who should be bending more nowadays.
  24. I think if they do that they lose their leverage. Their model is to force the hand of cable and satellite to pay a premium and include their product in the base package or next tier up. If they offer a stream only, then they will lose the people hounding the provider for their product. They are holding on to the old way of doing things and are kicking and screaming until their death. The only way I see streaming happening is if they end up with nothing left and then my guess is that it would be a terrible product and overpriced. I highly doubt they’d ever get in front of the curve on this.
  25. Not sure on the Wii but I'll have to check that out. We just hooked ours back up for the first time in awhile (I have 3 young boys 7,4,2). I know going back to SNES days, there were certain games that had a "computer assistance" option which kept games close. On a similar note, I lost for the first time to my son in a sports game, Madden. I play up two levels from him and he destroyed me in our last game. This is similar to an "assistance" type thing. I used to be really good at Madden.... 15 years ago! He just started playing it a little bit at the end of the NFL season. I guess I need to get some practice in before the next game because my pride can't take that. If he ever beats me at Tecmo Super Bowl, I may shed a tear.
