    I hear you madbad. I try not to let the presentation of the games get in my way of the actual competition going on. I too had a hard time with delays and spoilers.

    Overall I had a fun time watching the Olympics. My only complaint really was that the primetime events were on so late (east coast time). This caused me to have to watch them the next day several times. I enjoy having something like this to watch for a couple weeks.

    I believe I pay way more with DTV. Now, I'd have to do the math because of DTVs 12mo promotion (average it out over 24mo), but I still believe it's a good chunk more. Especially when you figure in the bundle rate you get when you have internet and cable together.

    Yep I was with them last time and even said ok, go ahead and cancel. Then she called my bluff so I said I will call back in a day or two, once I have the cable appointment set. So I think I might call back today and see what happens.

    Yes I tried as well and even brought it to the point of disconnecting, but then said I needed to call back once I had my cable setup. I'm going to try one more time, but I'm thinking I might just ditch DTV if they aren't going to do anything to keep me around. I pay way more for their services than I would with cable.

    Yes, I'd just call if it's not obvious online. Remember, if you've gained money, you will have tax implications, so be aware of that. You might want to put aside some money or ask them to let you know what you will potentially owe.

    My guess it's a spin off on the celebrity "flashing the deuces" (as Mike Greenberg calls it). Look at any pictures where celebrities are taking pictures together and on of them seems to always do that. Two fingers hanging off to the side. I'll probably start doing it in my selfies.

    Ha! I just was asking my mom if you could tell which hand was dominant at 3 or 4 months because I was thinking our son was left handed as well. I must admit, the first thing that came to mind was pitching.

    Pitch League - How could I forget! Well I've never seen it, but nice pull! I like the obscure sport watching too. I mean I only watch for a bit, but I just love sports and competition. It's a cool event and only happens once every 4 years (2 if you count alternating summer/winter).

    This really bums me out. I haven't thought of him that much over the last several years but this brings back a lot of memories. It was such a fun time to be a Brewers fan. He was one of the main reasons. Prince was the leader of this group. I really do hope he wants to be a part of a few things here and there with the organization. My guess is we won't hear from him much once he's gone. He seems like he'd rather be out of the spotlight, but that's just a guess.

    I agree on gymnastics, it's really amazing what they do. I watched a bit of table tennis today and was laughing so hard. Some of those serves are hilarious. Like I'm going to make TE guy laugh so he can't return it. I also saw an injury timeout today - not sure if they guy was even able to continue or not. So crazy. Granted he was 40, but still. Seems like that sport is begging for Will Ferell to make a movie about it.

    Ha! I too had frozen pizza last night for the ceremonies. Looking forward to some action today! The ceremony helped get me more excited.

    This brought back a lot of memories. Really enjoyed watching him, even during the frustrating times when he couldn't hit an outside slider (or layoff it for that matter). He was a big reason for the success of the team during his time here. Good dude.

    I'm usually pretty excited about the Olympics, but for some reason it has not grabbed me this year. I'm hoping that changes once the games start. Here is a thread to discuss!

    This was great to read. I too agree, that pitching will be key, but hopefully that part of the puzzle will be figured out soon.

    No I have not but just got done with a week long rental in NW Wisconsin. We've been doing a new lake each year and using it as a scouting trip. We are still out of state at this time and although we've been tempted, I'm thinking it's best we wait until we are closer. The whole renting your property thing is intriguing but could be frustrating from so far away.

    I hated these uniforms but kind of liked them tonight. Agree, very limited basis. Really was impressed by the hitting tonight. Loved the Broxton triple! Fun win.

    I thought that was really cool when CC let Guerra finish that game. It seemed like a great way to give a guy a final boost to finish it off. Thinking he's coming out and then all the sudden the manager says you got this. He was robbed of the complete game. Should have been an easy out. I thought it was a cool finish and was just bummed that ball hit the ump.

    I wanted to bump this thread to talk about favorite lakes to vacation on in WI. I stated that I'm very familiar with NW WI, but would like to know what lakes people really enjoy on the NE side.

    Set up a viewing, put her in the car and tell her you are taking her somewhere. That way if she sees it first hand and loves it, she will be motivated.
