    I debated starting a new topic, but the topic is going this way in here right now. What do you guys think of the radio team right now? I really enjoyed listening to Levering and Grindle the other day. Boy, Grindle sounds a lot like Matt Vasgersian.

    I'm at a loss for words for this team. The icing on the cake is Sogard. Dude is out of his mind right now.

    I'll second that. I thought we had a shot at him when Arcia got the relay throw....not even close.

    Mr & Mrs Sogard AAA call up. Spring Training invite. Villar I think is improving. Defense, hitting, everything seems to be coming together a little. Diaz/Dubon are a year plus away. Hernan could force the Brewers' hand at 2B if Brinson comes up and starts raking. I think Perez is a better overall player than Villar anyways Sogard should remain on the MLB team when Braun comes back Very nice on the burn! Thanks for filling me in, I appreciate it.

    Taking some risks on pitchers like Gray, with question marks, would be a good strategy in the coming years. Both by trade and free agency. If one or two hit, that can help a ton. If not, we shouldn't be out too much. Ultimately we have to figure out a way to develop some young pitching to be our core.

    Well before kids and when the first one was really young, I would watch or listen to parts of most games. I usually would trail off in July and August a bit and catch more of those on radio. Now with two young kids and preparing for a move..... I'm lucky to catch parts of a couple games a week. I do my best to catch up in the morning with box scores and highlights and my daily visit to BF.net. That's why my in game posts are now usually the day after the game! I'm hoping once we get settled I'll get in to more of a routine with watching and listening. Plus I'll be in WI, so that will make it even more fun! Edit: I forgot to mention, I'm watching right now. West Coast games are a big help, but never make it to the end of them.

    I really think we should still be sellers (if there is anything). We don't have the total club together yet. Keep collecting assets!

    Let me just say that I definitely fall on your side of the argument with this. But, what if we are talking about a pitcher that we'd have control over for the next few seasons beyond 2017? Again, maybe a deGrom or Quintana type guy that would/should be a bit piece of your rotation for the next few years as you try to build a championship level team? I too don't like the idea of selling off any of our big prospects that we've worked hard to acquire, but I might at least entertain the idea if we were getting back a quality starting pitcher that we could build the rotation around. Eventually, we are going to have to do this anyway as I just don't see much high-end starting pitching in our system right now. I guess the question would be: is this year the right year to start looking at deal like this? Coming into the year, we all would have said that NO, it is way too soon, but perhaps our timelines get moved up a season if this team continues winning games with the offense over the next month+ here? I really think it's best to make those trades in the offseason as opposed to the deadline. I feel like that's when you pay the most. Now if a great deal came up and we weren't busting the bank, maybe. I think we are in a spot where we need to stay calm, and continue to see what we have before making many moves. This team is also very unproven at this point, so I don't want to be making assumptions on all these guys. Let's not rush in to anything.

    No! We have to stay patient and let this develop. We still don't know anything about these guys long term. We have built up a great farm system and we need to that that carefully so that we always have a steady stream coming up. Do I think we should trade for pitchers at some point with position players that we have several of? Yes. But I think we should be trading for guys with high potential, not guys that are already there. At least not for the foreseeable future.

    I'm all for bandwagon fans. More fans, better atmosphere, bigger buzz. I'm all for it. That was such a fun game yesterday. Still can't believe it.

    Trust the process indeed. I think they are best to make small moves for pitchers, not unloading a bunch of talent for one. Yesterday definitely was an all timer! I really don't think they should be focusing much on this year except understanding the talent and where they fit long term. Help them keep growing as players! Fun stuff.

    That was a little hairy at the end, but great to see the W. I also was in shock with a series win in STL! Awesome!

    If he can actually execute supplying these shoes on time for the orders, he could be a genius. But, the big thing is, the kid has to be a star. I think he has the style of play that will excite young kids. That's 90% of the battle. Nobody will want his shoes if he's average. I think it would also become a status symbol for young players. "Wow, he has the BBBs!" I think this could work, but there are a lot of ifs.

    Jim - Man, those thick heavy cotton T-Shirts really bother me. I really prefer the soft ones that start to feel like you've owned them for 10 years after one wash!

    Well done Fondy, especially because of your avatar. I'm kind of thinking if we move back again, RB makes a lot of sense, or a CB, because of how many our out there.

    Tough ending to that as many have said. Giannis can't take that layup with that little of time left. He actually could have taken it to the rack the first time he had the ball and didn't. Oh well. I loved how crazy that place was at the end. I don't know if I've ever seen it like that. Awesome. Hopefully they learn from it and get better next year. Big Things!

    Awesome article! When are they thinking he'll be game ready? It might be way too big of a risk, but I almost wonder if it could be a huge payoff to extend him at a discount and see if he takes it. That is if he's healthy after all the rehab. Just a thought. I'm assuming he's going to have lingering issues as he gets older, but could hopefully stay healthy for a couple years while he's young.

    I really haven't had the time to dive in to our needs, but just from the surface, it sure seems like we have a lot of holes to fill. I'm hoping we can really nail the draft this year, but it seems like we need a lot. Are there any potential FAs we still might look in to? Isn't Mixon supposed to be climbing up to the end of the first or early second?
