  1. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick Take a ride on the West Coast kick Holiday RoOOOOoooOOOoooaad Looking forward to the West Coast trip for the Brewers. I hope they can stay hot and win a couple road series. I enjoy when they are out on the coast because I can listen to them while I'm going to bed, and also hear a little Vin Scully.
  2. Congrats, happy for the guy! I know he's streaky so I hope he can stay hot and continue helping us on offense.
  3. Well said Monty, I too can't really be too upset about Weeks batting 8th with the key players we have out right now. I was actually randomly thinking of this, but is there a reason anyone can see for weeks staying 4th because RRR doesn't want to move the other players off the spots they are batting currently? As in he likes Lucroy batting 5th, etc? I don't even know if that makes sense to me, but just throwing that out there.
  4. I have had V-8 fusion, but I actually love tomato juice or V-8. I have a juicer and do that on a somewhat regular basis. OWBC - I love a carrot apple juice, very solid.
  5. Really would like to see Peralta put together a whole game today. Hes got the stuff to do it, just not sure if he has the mental part down. Lets keep this going!
  6. Really looking forward to watching the young guy pitch tonight! Lets keep the streak going and get Burgos a win!
  7. FWIW, there is reduced-sodium V-8. Ya Hawing, I know I know. My wife informs me of that too I think I'll give it a run, but it's not as good as the real thing. At least I'm having this debate instead of weather or not I should be drinking diet or regular Mt Dew, or something like that.
  8. This is going to be a tough game I think. I hope we can get all over Samardzzjjaja right away. Let's stay hot Brewers!
  9. Prediction time, who ends the season with the most saves for the crew? I think Ax will take over again and lead the team in saves. I'm hoping there aren't anymore implosions that lead to this, I just hope it's a smooth transition back to him and Henderson in the 8th.
  10. I did not look at everything, but was wondering, what can I expect to see for Burgos? I have to admit, I don't know a ton about him. A friend of mine said he'd be comparable to an Estrada if he can hit spots like him.
  11. Man this is really crazy. I hope they can bring this guy in alive without anyone else being hurt.
  12. I love V-8 juice! I have a can every morning. Not only do I get several servings of veggies but I also get 38% of my daily sodium intake. So I got that going for me, which is nice.
  13. I apologize, I have not read all the posts in this thread but just wanted to chime in after a few games. I think what having Lohse on the team has done is given us a veteran leader presence, which I'm not sure we have on the staff. It also gives us some stability and will allow us to bring up youth around him. Not in the traditional sense where you have an ace, and you build off of him, but more a middle rotation guy that is consistent. Because we have so many unknowns on our staff, having Lohse there, really helps keep things calm. It let's us do things like bring up Burgos and if he doesn't work, bring up the next young guy. I believe it's easier to do this with out so much panic, because we have more stability from a guy like Lohse. Hopefully this makes some sense, but I just think Lohse really buys us more time to figure out which young pitchers are MLB ready without the panic.
  14. Good start here so far. Lots of ball left but we could really use a clean game.
  15. Hey hey hey, big win!! "We're going streaking! Everybody's doing it!"
  16. I feel like Peralta is still learning how to pitch. I think he's a thrower and it hasn't clicked. For some that takes awhile, or never happens. He's got the stuff, I hope he can just put it all together.
  17. Someone told my mom yesterday "well, we are only 22 weeks away from the first frost of the year." Slightly cruel.
  18. YB needs to change his walk up song to "You're the best, arounnnnnnd, nothings gonna ever keep you down..."
