I think this is a bad move the Cards if they do it. It has been the talk of STL lately, because there is nothing else positive to talk about when it comes to sports here. They are deep in OF right now so they could trade one but they need help in so many other places. Unless Holliday can play 2B, SS, SP and close it isnt that great of a deal for them.

They'll still be a lot cheaper then Cardinals tickets

I watch pretty much as much baseball as I can especially post season. Living in St. Louis I think I watched 75% of the games or went to them, my girlfriend is a diehard Cards fan though. I will admit I didn't really watch too much of this years WS because for the first time in awhile it really didn't interest me. Plus I find it very hard to watch games with Morgan, McCarver or Buck.

I still haven't received my ted Simmons ball and they told me they ran out of the ones with the 1982 WS inscription, you'd think you'd get what you order. This is a tempting signing but I don't think I want to deal with them anymore.

kind of out of left field but what about doing some prospects. I think it would be a way to get people excited about the brewer's future since so much time has been spent on their past. I like the Juan Nieves , sadly outside of Yount, Molitor, Gantner I don't see anymore bobbleheads coming out of 80s-early 90s teams.

This has probably been discussed but I think if the Brewers could move one of these guys to 2B it vastly improves their team. At the very least they don't have to get rid of Hardy and they can get Weeks out of the lineup. Pick up Cameron's option and all you'd have to worry about is pitching this off season, maybe 3rd.

You are righ I am wrong, my time frame is messed up. I was up in WI in early September so I meant early September not August

I agree with a lot of what you posted. My biggest problem with Yost was it didn't ever seem Yost motivated and pushed this young team in the later part of the year when they needed it most, again. granted I live in St. Louis and see very few games(but thank you XM) but it just seemed like for August they were flat and uninspired which ultimately is the player's fault but lets face it the manager gets blamed for it.

Due to the fact that Donnie Baseball was my favorite player growing up I'd love to own a Mattingly Brewers jersey but that is about it. I think they are going to go with someone no one is even thinking of. my darkhorse candidate is Frank Robinson.

AS someone who lives in St. Louis I can honestly say 365 days a year the sports media here absolutely blows especially Bernie's crap he puts out everyday. The cards tv announcers are garbage also. They are completely blowing this out of proportion to try to spark teh cardinals. I also love how Pujols a guy who admires his HR just as much as anyone in baseball and also thanks the heavens after any type of hit he gets got pissed off at a pitcher showing emotion. Plus as much as I like LaRussa he manages dirty as hell, one of the reason I like him is he is old school. Bernie is one of the worst sports columnists I have ever read all he does is complain. I am glad I didn't go last night but tuesday instead. It was great having Cards fans try to bash the Brewers while they were up 12-0. I got to hear all about their young(29 year olds) talent.

I honestly don't think the new wave of fans who jumped on board the past year or so or younger fans know how much they should hate Sheffield. Last time I was at Miller Park I saw multiple people wearing retro Sheffield jersey.

I have an extra of last years Braun big Head. I am pretty sure it is his first bobble and there are a limited number, 605?, of them or something like that

Blame Canada with all the talk about this bobblehead I really wish I was getting one. This is like the Chinese Democracy of bobbleheads
