Ohio State QB is bad. He wouldn’t even have all that good of stats if he didn’t have the receivers he has. Feels weird having the better QB.

I wonder how reliable space mining could be? I mean technologically we are almost there. No this is not science fiction there are actual companies out there doing the research and planning to test in space soon. https://arstechnica.com/science/2023/10/space-is-starting-to-look-like-the-better-mining-operation/?utm_source=pocket-newtab-en-us If we plan to go fully EV and you don't want to stripe mine nearly the whole planet then you will need to mine in space. Asteroids make the least amount of sense to me but I don't believe the moon nor Mars have the mineral deposits we need for EV's. So as of right now unless there has been new information on mineral deposits on the moon or Mars. I would think a moon base would be needed first before we could even start mining asteroids unless the plan is to mine near Earth objects? I don't believe this would be a feasible investment now but maybe in the next 10-15 years?

I don’t believe Woodruff would want to go more than two years unless the Brewers did a long term contract like five or six years. Something around two years and $20mm sounds about right. -
Houston should be next and maybe San Diego and don’t count out Toronto.

Now if we could only get Connaughton and Giannis to stop shooting bad 3's we will be set. Connaughton is still bad at help defense he leaves his man when there is no chance to help and it gets thrown in the corner where he left his assignment for an easy 3. The bad Bucks offense showed up in the game a lot. This is the give Giannis the ball and everyone else play statue offense. It doesn't work and hasn't worked. Giannis should not be on the floor if Dame/Middleton are not on the floor. The offense is just horrible when this happens. It is everyone standing around watching Giannis drive into 3-4 defenders and then Giannis taking a bad shot or losing his dribble while driving.

I agree. I still think something like 2-years $20mm should be good and just pay him the majority of the salary in '25 as a team option with a buyout. So in 2024 Woodruff would get paid $4-6mm and then in 2025 he would get the remaining or whatever the buyout would be.

Pretty obvious that the 4th is going to be Dame's offense to run. Which turns out it is going to be a really good idea because Giannis still sucks at shooting FT's.

The Bucks offense looks bad without Dame in the game. With just Giannis on the court the offense looks exactly like it was last year. Everyone standing around waiting for Giannis to do something.

Yes and they added that Cleveland has also requested to interview CC. I think you can add the Padres and Astros to the list to request for an interview. Cleveland isn’t afraid to pay managers a top amount. So don’t count them out to give CC a large contract.

I am more confident now that CC will be the Astros manager for the 2024 season. The Astros want a manager who is more analytical. CC fits this perfectly and he won’t have to deal with the media in NYC. CC is going to get paid wherever he goes but the Astros and maybe the Blue Jays are far far far far better teams than the Mets are. Will CC really want to step into a team that is basically a minefield? One that could be going through a rebuild? I don’t believe CC will be interested in the Mets job and will be more interested in the Astros job. By far the Astros are a better team than the Mets. World Series wise the Astros will be one of the favorites again. Why would CC pick the Mets over the Astros if he is interested in winning a WS?

The Bears backup QB is a really good backup QB. He may not have the physical talent to be a starter but he is adequate as a backup QB. He will probably have a long career as a backup QB and is probably smart enough to be a QB coach or HC down the line.

It was in the neighbors driveway which is about 50 feet from my house maybe a bit more. I already parked my car in the garage so wasn’t going to reverse and then drive out of my driveway a bit.

No never pointed the gun at him. I took the light off the gun and placed the gun in my holster. My gun has a light on it because it helps identify coyotes, javelinas and mountain lions that tend to be around the area where I live.

I believe it is more likely that CC reunites with Stearns but not as the Manager for the Mets. If he reunites with Stearns it will be as the GM of the Mets. That is the only scenario where I see CC going to the Mets. I still believe Toronto is probably the next best spot behind Milwaukee. I would rank it this way 1. Milwaukee 2. Toronto 3. Houston as a manager. I think it is just the Mets if he goes the GM route maybe the Brewers if he doesn’t want to step in and be the GM and is more interested in a front office position that is not as demanding. Maybe a regional scouting director or something like that.

I forgot to get dog food for my dog today so I go back to the store and pick some up. This is at like 7pm just had enough to feed her today. So I get back home and I see what looks like a person laying flat on the ground in their driveway. I can’t see anything because the city has yet to replace the light that burnt out 4-months ago. So I go back in the house and grab my gun because that is the only thing that is working that has a light on it all my flashlights are dead. I get over to the neighbors driveway and sure enough there is a dude just in his underwear lying there in the driveway. He looks drunk or stoned can’t tell and didn’t smell anything. He sounds like he can barely breathe so I call 911 and then 5 minutes before the fire department gets there he gets up and goes back into the house. WTH??? No idea how he even got back into the house as he couldn’t even walk in a straight line for more than 2 feet in front of him before almost falling over. Seriously man if you are going to be that drunk or stoned you have a problem. Especially where you are nearly naked in your driveway just laying there. Just a little bit annoyed.

I believe he is still subject to arbitration for the Brewers unless he signs a contract (minor or major league contract). It is probably why he went unclaimed being arbitration eligible. Teams will probably want to get him in on a minor league contract. I don't believe the Brewers will offer him arbitration and will try to trade him but will more than likely release him before they have to make the arbitration decision.

It is one of the main problems in the Phoenix area. The majority like 99% are 3-5 bedroom homes starting at the $300k price range and some going even higher starting in the $450k price range. Also starter homes have shot up by about $50k-100k depending on where you live. The starter home supply has been shrinking which is anything 1400 sq feet or less. Something around 60% used to be the new housing supply is now somewhere between 10-15%. If you wanted to start building houses you think you would want to tap into this market but it seems all of the builders just want to build luxury style homes.
