  1. Not enough value for a straight up swap the Cubs would have to add more. Since it is within the division these are rare trades and I think the Cubs would have to overpay to get Burnes. It would have to be more than what anyone else is willing to pay for Burnes so the extra $10mm in valuation added. Burnes is about $35mm in excess value and Horton is about $30mm. You would need to add about $10mm more from the Cubs side for a trade to work or about $5mm more than what another team is offering for Burnes.
  2. LOL NO! At a minimum for a Burnes trade to work with the Cubs it has to start with Horton. Since it is a the Cubs you need to add an extra $10mm in valuation towards Burnes which would bring Burnes excess value up to about $45mm. So in the end a more realistic trade scenario is Burnes for Horton, Triantos and Ferris. Anything less than that and the Brewers walk away.
  3. So far tonight Dame has shot 16 FT's and the Raptors as a team have shot 21.
  4. Dame doing Dame things tonight.
  5. Because the majority have already maxed out potential wise. There really isn’t anything left to get out of them. Even refining what they are is like squeezing blood out of a turnip.
  6. Scheme, as that looks like a pass rush on the first one. Usually stunts or slants by your DL are for a pass rush to open up a spot for a blitzing LB. The first one it looks like the defense got caught in a pass defense. The TD run it looks like the MLB was supposed to cover the outside gap correctly and the safety is supposed to cover the inside gap. The safety also looked to be way too far back and didn’t recognize run quick enough. Looks to be a coaching and scheme problem. The last one it looks like the DL tried to jump the inside gap and then got manhandled by the OL.
  7. These early trades in the off season are always fun to read all of the questioning of the acquisition and hyper analyzing of something that usually doesn’t matter.
  8. Judging someone by the way they speak and giving them low intelligence is not a good idea. People who speak at an intelligent level are usually morons or also known as politicians. This reminds me of this:
  9. Well it is in Brookfield and we all know Brookfield sucks just sayin.

    Pizza

They are only in Milwaukee and there are only three locations. If you are ever back in Milwaukee it is the best place to go.
  11. Not all that surprising really. The Dodgers and Braves had interest in Adames last off season.
  12. No manager of the year for CC.
  13. I am going with Weeks as the bench coach. Your 2027 Brewers manager also.
  14. I think the Phillies trade is probably the more realistic of the ones. I think for the Yankees they would want to offload Stanton though I think the Yankees would have to kick in some money or a better prospect to even everything out.
  15. I was having a hard time finding pitching prospects from the teams I was trading with. It is possible to get more pitching probably from the Yankees and Mariners trade. Replace Locklear and Lombard with pitchers but I think these are the best players and you could always trade one of them for pitching if needed. These trades are more looking at 2025-2030.
  16. Somehow the AI hates me and created the Metrodome, Kingdome and the Astrodome all in one. This must be nuked from orbit and then nuked from below just to make sure it never happens.
  17. The red car looks like it is running over some poor bicyclist or motorcyclist.
  18. Probably means they will have to ramp up Middleton’s minutes earlier than expected and increase everyone else’s minutes.
  19. Or the baseball magnet at the batters box. I swear the ball would just seek out and find him in the batters box.
  20. Crowder out 8 weeks. https://www.fox6now.com/sports/bucks-jae-crowder-to-undergo-surgery.amp
  21. Sure if the Cubs would agree to PCA, Horton, Triantos and all of their 2024 international bonus money plus that in cash. I would trade Burnes to them.
  22. Probably the same as any youth sport for positive and negatives though hockey is going to be more expensive. Youth wise they are probably going to be more tired after practice and playing than any other sport.
  23. What if the Brewers trade Peralta and Williams/Burnes in the off season then Burnes/Williams at the deadline? I believe the Brewers best trade piece is Peralta and Burnes or Williams are a distant second and third. If you want to do a rebuild I think you start with Peralta and then keep one of Burnes or Williams until the deadline or in Burnes case just keep him and take the pick.
  24. This probably has a 0.000000000000001% chance of happening. Brewers go young for 2024. Trades: Peralta to the Twins for Brooks Lee, Soto (SP) and Festa (SP). Burnes to the Braves for Waldrep (SP), Grissom (2B) and Alvarez (3B). Adames and Taylor to the Dodgers for Jorbit Vivas (2B), Maddux Bruns (SP) and Yeiner Fernandez (C/2B). Devin Williams to the Yankees in a three team trade. Brewers get Tyler Locklear (3B), Drew Thorpe (SP) and George Lombard (SS). Mariners get Gleyber Torres and Owen Miller. Signings: Trevor Bauer 1-year $15m Resign Woodruff 2 years $17m. Drew Pomeranz 2 years $9mm Yasmani Grandal 2 years $10m Brandon Belt 2 years $10m Some Journeyman Catcher 2 years $4.5m C: William Contreras ($0.77M) 1B: Brandon Belt ($3.5M) 2B: Tyler Black ($0.77M) 3B: Brooks Lee ($0.77M) SS: Brice Turang ($0.77M) LF: Christian Yelich ($26.00M) CF: Sal Frelick ($0.77M) RF: Garrett Mitchell ($0.77M) DH: Yasmani Grandal ($3.5M) Bench OF: Joey Wiemer ($0.77M) Utility: Andruw Monasterio ($0.77M) Utility: Vaughn Grissom ($0.77M) Backup C: Some Journeyman Catcher ($1.5M) SP1: Trevor Bauer ($15M) SP2: Ashby ($1.5M) SP3: Adrian Houser ($5.6M) SP4: Colin Rea ($3.5M) SP5: Gasser ($0.77M) CL: Dew Pomeranz ($3.5M) RP: Abner Uribe ($0.77M) RP: Hoby Milner ($1.70M) RP: Bryse Wilson ($1.30M) RP: Joel Payamps ($1.70M) RP: Trevor Megill ($0.77M) RP: Elvis Peguero ($0.77M) RP: Woodruff ($3.00M) Payroll is 41.92% under budget
