  1. I believe in the States Alabama would be the cheapest place to retire to. Alabama has one of the lowest cost of living I believe there was a study awhile back that stated $100 is equal to approximately $115 in Alabama. Social Security and pension income are not taxed in Alabama all other retirement income are. State income tax is 5% which is higher than neighboring Florida but your cost of living is far lower in Alabama which should offset this. May want to check out Vietnam as another country to retire to. There is a capital gains tax you have to pay but I believe it is rather small. Cost of living is extremely low in Vietnam. Thailand is another option similar to Vietnam. Poland is a good country to move to though you will need to learn Polish as English is not spoken all that much. You may be able to get away with speaking German but you would probably want to pick up some Polish at least. Panama is another country you may want to look into. Panama is home to basically every country in the world. You can find Americans, Venezuelans, Chinese, French, Koreans, and other communities in Panama.
  2. Unable to watch tonight but the start looks good so far.
  3. Unlikely on the Brewers getting Sacramento. One of the reasons for the minor league realignment was to have the affiliates closer to each other. Sacramento would be too far from Milwaukee and Biloxi. I have no idea beyond Biloxi if Nashville is no longer the Brewers AAA affiliate. Maybe Mobile becomes a AA or AAA team for the Brewers again.
  4. Giannis is supposed to be back tonight unless there are setbacks. I believe Giannis will play tonight. How well or for how long are the big question marks.
  5. I am going to assume it will be somewhere not in WI. I don't see Madison as an even slight chance. Probably just move Biloxi from AA to AAA and then find another AA site for the Brewers. The Biloxi stadium is rather new yet and I believe fits into the AAA standard for a stadium.
  6. Connaughton should not be on the court at the same time Allen is on the court. Also Connaughton shouldn't be on the court if Lopez, Middleton or Holliday are on the court. Basically Connaughton should be a rotation player and nothing more.
  7. Connaughton has to be the worst player in the NBA fighting through screens.
  8. There is very little the Bucks can do other than trading Giannis. If you let Middleton and Lopez go there is no savings the Bucks will still be over the cap and won't be able to sign any significant FA.
  9. I tried but was too annoyed to.
  10. Ahh that makes more sense to my brain now.
  11. People saying my guy or my guys. Not sure why but that has been annoying me.
  12. Three if you go back further with Golden State. I believe the old arena was in Oakland?
  13. I don't see MLB allowing this. I doubt they are going to be all that willing for a AAA team to be taking away revenue from the MLB team. That team will get moved regardless of what that article says or what the A's are saying right now. In order for the A's to move there they are going to require the AAA team to move at some point. I doubt the owners will allow this and there will be a stipulation that the AAA team must move within x years.
  14. I wonder if he would be better as a reliever than a starter. But I don’t want the Brewers to try and find that out unless he is coming over at the league minimum.
  15. Probably. Should be interesting where they move that AAA affiliate. With the A’s eventual move to Vegas that leaves Portland, Nashville, Charlotte, Montreal and Salt Lake City as possible new MLB cities. Once the Rays situation is solved and that looks to be wrapping up soon also. So my prediction is expansion of 2 teams in 2028. I am going to go with Nashville and Portland as the expansion cities. Which means the Brewers lose the Sounds as their AAA affiliate.
  16. A’s have bought land in Las Vegas. https://apnews.com/article/oakland-as-las-vegas-move-17c6bdd24d60d86b67921e7d736705f2 This is a binding agreement so the A’s are leaving Oakland and will be moving to Las Vegas.
  17. I think Hooker may become the best QB in this draft 3-5 years from now. Whoever gets him and if they can develop him into a more consistent passer will have a MVP caliber QB on their hands. Almost perfect for the Packers as they can stash him behind Love and if Love sucks for the next two years just go with Hooker and not extend Love.
  18. It is not possible to win an NBA game if the other team is shooting 50% or better from 3 unless you are also shooting 50% or better from 3. The Bucks looked better defensively this game. Butler is going to get his points just need to stop the supporting cast from getting theirs.
  19. LOL Carter with a prayer.
  20. If Hooker is available at 78 would the Packers be tempted to draft him?
  21. They are still calculating Johnny Estrada’s sprint speed. He still hasn’t made it to 1B yet from 2008.
  22. I think the MLB owners may require the current A’s owner to sell before moving. Similar to what happened to the Expos. Well not exactly similar but close enough.
