  1. Houston or Austin are the next cities to get an NHL expansion team with a reported $2billion franchise fee already paid. If you were hoping for a Milwaukee franchise any time soon well that opportunity has passed about 20-30 years ago.
  2. Just behind YuniB but that is unfair to Joey. It was a shame YuniB didn’t get invited to the alumni game. He is the greatest SS/1B in Brewers history!!!
  3. This feels appropriate.
  4. Marte looked decent last year and he is still young yet. Not sure what is wrong with him.
  5. Peyton Watson to the Cavs. https://www.nba.com/news/peyton-watson-trade-cavaliers
  6. LOL the Reds absolutely suck. How are they this bad with the talent they have in their team? https://www.mlb.com/news/cardinals-six-run-ninth-inning-comeback-reds?adobe_mc=TS%3D1787262223|MCMID%3D55264790784065735087450660525087229777|MCORGID%3DA65F776A5245B01B0A490D44@AdobeOrg&affiliateId=mlbapp-ios_webview_news-index&rsid=mlbios.at.bat.new.implementation
  7. An interesting read. https://www.mlb.com/news/breaking-down-first-base-throw-receiving-data?partnerID=mlbapp-iOS_article-share
  8. Without looking it up I would say either Molitor or Puckett would be the answer.
  9. Those types are not normally available where the Brewers have been picking. Best case scenario is you find someone like Miz worst case scenario you find someone who doesn’t even make it to the majors. You have to get extremely lucky or find a diamond in the rough.
  10. I don’t think Milwaukee will get another All Star game. Tampa and Vegas will be ahead of them plus the expansion teams that are coming. Boston hasn’t had one recently.
  11. I wonder how much the lockout will impact this decision. He could just accept so he doesn’t have to deal with FA during the lockout and go with a new contract the following season.
  12. Ehhh that was a very hittable pitch. That probably should have been in the seats. Got lucky there.
  13. So much for the Cubs will either be in first place in the NL Central or will be within a game or two of the Brewers after this Dodgers series. Apparently you still have to play the games.
  14. They are not hurt just not on the 40-man. With next year in doubt on when it will start placing either on the 40-man wouldn't be a wise decision. They wouldn't be able to play in the minors if they are on the 40-man as they are part of the MLB CBA then. If they are not on the 40-man then they are part of the MiLB CBA which would allow them to play in the minors. Other than they are both probably not ready yet to face MLB pitching the probable lockout is why they are not on the 40-man and being promoted. Burke probably has a better case for being on the team but the same lockout problem applies to him.
  15. Sproat's problem is not being passive or aggressive it is repeating his pitching mechanics. Repeating your mechanics = you can place the ball where you want. Unable to repeat pitching mechanics = ball goes wherever it is going to go. Henderson repeats his delivery extremely well. Probably the best on the team in that regard.
  16. That was the fastest I have ever seen a pitcher go to 1B on a fielding play.
  17. Was a horrible AB by Vaughn. Sanchez had two very hittable pitches. Vaughn should have let the 2-1 pitch go. Yes that gets you to 2-2 but there was nothing he was going to be able to do with that pitch.
  18. Who says no? Assuming there are no NTC involved and money isn’t an issue. Brewers: Tucker Dodgers: Yelich I’m not sure the Brewers accept and I think the Dodgers are a maybe.
  19. Mitchell seems like he is just trying to walk. He needs to be more aggressive. Forget about striking out and just swing the bat.
  20. There have actually been quite a few so far. Lara got two in one PA.
  21. About a second or two behind. Sometimes it is close.
  22. He’s stuck between I don’t want to strikeout swinging on an outside pitch and trying to hit the pitch. He needs to be more aggressive on pitches outside and less aggressive inside. Easier said than done.
