  2. There is a third team now in on the Giannis trade well if a trade with Miami happens it will include Herro going to Detroit.
  3. Wisconsin stadium is too small for AAA. Biloxi probably goes from AA to AAA for the Brewers and then move the Warbirds/Wisconsin to AA.
  4. I agree. Also won’t happen until expansion at the MLB level and 2030. The current deal with MiLB clubs ends in 2030.
  5. After year 2 under the new proposal. This wouldn’t end the draft just reduce the number of players. MLB is definitely looking to reduce the minors but that won’t come until 2030 when the current deal with the minor league clubs expires. I fully expect low A to be eliminated. 2030 would also be close to when expansion would be happening.
  6. I think the Brewers may go HS heavy in this draft as it maybe the last draft to draft them.
  7. Probably should have bunted or PH for Ortiz there.
  8. I was just about to say something about that.
  9. New international draft proposal and other changes to the draft. Competitive balance picks will be eliminated, draft picks will be eligible to be traded and high school players removed from the draft pool. https://www.mlb.com/amp/news/mlb-domestic-and-international-draft-proposals.html
  10. When I say economy I don't mean you, me or even the top 10% of earners it is the economy as a whole. An oil crisis or energy crisis that the Fed is now calling it has been non existent for the whole year. Like it hasn't even registered as a shock to be worried about. We haven't finished June yet but even with the recent events an energy crisis isn't even in the top 3. It has been one of the bottom shocks that the Fed monitors. Bond sell off has actually been the top shock that the Fed has been monitoring. Though Bond sell off is usually always the top shock. Inflation and USD crisis tend to follow after a bond sell off in the shocks that the Fed monitors. I think their next release on this information is next week but I don't expect an energy crisis to even register.
  11. DH or 1B. I’m not sold on Fischer at 3B at least not long term.
  12. I would rather trade Frelick to be honest.
  13. @Brock Beauchamp Hi me again complaining about the sites dark mode. The boxes are way too bright white in dark mode hurts my eyes when trying to use it.
  14. You misunderstand what I am talking about. The shock is an oil crisis. The impact on the economy doesn’t seem to be as severe of a shock as it was in the past.
  15. Is there a bubble to pop or has it already popped? I think the bubble popped earlier in the year. Im not sure the oil disruption is as huge as it would have been for example in the 70’s. It is still a shock monitored by the Federal Reserve but I’m not sure it is like it was even in the early 2000’s. I believe the Federal Reserve has agreed to this outlook recently.
  16. 67 and the kids go wild!
  17. No adjustments as there are only about 3 rows of stands in some spots in the OF. The supposed dimensions are 323 down the line to left and right field. 372 to left center, 395 to center and 379 to right center. The front of the stadium is where they have enough room and that is where the majority of the seats are along with the team store and other restaurants. I think it was supposed to be 340 down both of the lines originally but I think they ran out of room and had to change it. You have to use a ruler and the scale but here is where you can get the dimensions on the stadium. https://www.lvstadiumauthority.com/docs/2025/03/06/mlb/Stadium Design Update Resized - March 6, 2025 SA.pdf
  18. Both Adames and Chapman have no trade clauses so the Giants would have to get the ok from them first before they can even entertain a trade. Devers is probably the easier one to trade and he has a bigger contract.
  19. Fairly confident this was pre planned and Pratt was coming up regardless for this series against Cleveland. Prospects tend to get promoted on the road rather than at the home ballpark to "break them in". I have no idea if this actually works there is probably a thought behind this but I am not sure it can be validated or backed up. I think the Brewers targeted this date for Pratt and it was either going to be Rengifo DFA'd or one of Ortiz or Hamilton optioned. I think Hamilton still has an option. The same is probably going to happen with Lara. He should be up after the All Star break or the week after I think. This all depends on how well Lockridge plays. I think at some point Frelick or Perkins are moved off the team either by option (Frelick) or DFA (Perkins). I wouldn't be surprised by a Frelick IL stint either.
  20. Vegas luck finally ran out. I still have no idea how they beat Colorado.
  21. I am not seeing or hearing this. The only connection with Portis that I have seen so far has been with the Celtics and that is if they don't get Giannis. I haven't seen or heard anything else on Portis. I don't think the Heat will want to include Wiggins in a trade even with getting Portis back. That would eat into their roster more and make trading for Giannis rather pointless as they wouldn't have much of a team around Bam and Giannis. Wiggins is more of a SF and Portis is a C/PF. That is just another redundancy adding in Portis to the Heat. I don't see a fit here. The rumored trade has no other picks coming back to the Bucks. This is also probably why the Bucks haven't accepted the trade at this time.
  22. So it looks like the Bucks are now pivoting to a rebuild and are willing to not bring in a superstar back and keep that superstar. So the Boston, Portland Milwaukee maybe a real possibility. There is still the Giannis only wants to play for an Eastern conference team though. I think we can eliminate a Western conference team from acquiring Giannis which eliminates a lot of good trade possibilities. The Western conference teams are not going to give up as much as the Celtics or Heat will because they don't know if Giannis will resign with them or not. The Heat have their offer in and it is basically the same offer as what they sent in during the trade deadline. The Bucks haven't shown a willingness to back down on their demands. There is a reported deal from the Celtics that doesn't include Brown or White. Not sure of the accuracy on that. The rumored Heat offer is Herro, Ware, Jacquez and the 13th pick in this draft. This is probably the deal that the Bucks will be taking for Giannis. Don't expect much more than this if Giannis is traded. Orlando, Portland and Minnesota are still interested in trading for Giannis but as pointed out earlier Giannis doesn't want to play on a Western conference team so that just leaves Orlando. This not wanting to play on a Western conference team is going to kill some of Giannis' value on the market. Portland may still figure their way into a trade but it will be as a third team in a trade. If the Boston rumor is true then I would think Portland would have to be in those discussions. I am just not sure how they would be without Brown going to Portland. If Boston doesn't get Giannis then I expect them to go after Portis, but I wouldn't expect much in return maybe someone like Tonje or Hauser plus an expiring makes sense here.
