  1. Turner doesn’t have that much value. At best you are getting a second round pick. No way you are getting a first round pick let alone two. I don’t see the Warriors giving up Hield in a trade and if they do it won’t be for KPJ. At that point it wouldn’t be worth it for the Bucks.
  2. Maybe the NFL finally wised up and decided to put in requirements for the hall of very good? What those requirements are no one knows. Next year a HC who won one SB and then did nothing afterwards will be a first ballot hall of very good. Could also be he pissed off a lot of the voters and with Belichick that is probably the reason why.
  3. Cordero turned into Greinke and Yelich through his FA compensation of Jake Odorizzi.
  4. Pratt could also be moved to 3B though Wilken is already there in AAA. Pratt physically would probably be better at 3B. I am not sure the Brewers share the same idea. It could also allow Pratt to put on some more muscle as he wouldn’t have to be so lean to play at 3B. May also help his power hitting if he puts on some more muscle and weight.
  5. I wouldn’t call Bader a competent hitter. He had a good year last year which was BABIP driven. He has a career .247/.313/.401 slash line. The last three years he has been a below average offensive player prior to last season. Career wise he has been below average offensively. I am glad the Brewers passed on him. He is basically a slightly worse version of Jeffrey Hammonds.
  6. Right now the Bucks have the 8th worst record. New Orleans, Sacramento, Brooklyn and Indiana are all far ahead of the Bucks. For the 7-10 teams they are all within one game of each other. Charlotte, Memphis and Milwaukee all have the same number of wins at 18. Dallas has one more win and one more loss in that same group. I think the Bucks have a real good chance at finishing somewhere in the 7-10 pick range. The Bucks are also more than one player away from being a serious contender again. There is no way they become a serious contender again with Giannis unless they somehow strike gold and get a #2 or #3 scorer in this upcoming draft. I am not even sure that player exists right now.
  7. Manfred on a possible salary cap in the next CBA. “But I do get concerned. We try to listen to our fans, and we do hear from fans in a lot of markets that, ‘Gee whiz, when we look at the resources they have compared to the resources that are available in our market, we don’t feel like it’s quite a fair shake,’ and that’s an issue we’re going to have to deal with.” https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6986854/2026/01/20/mlb-owners-salary-cap-push-dodgers-kyle-tucker/?source=user_shared_article I think this dead on arrival and won’t happen. The owners will not include revenue sharing in the salary cap proposal and the players union will reject it. The salary cap will then be dropped and nothing will change. There are other options beyond a salary cap but the owners don’t want to explore it.
  8. The chancellor of a University should be looking to improve the academics at a school not worrying about the sports teams at the school.
  9. The Bucks are trying to trade for Ja Morant but are unwilling to include Rollins in the deal. The Bucks are also trying to get rid of Kuzma. Morant has been injured and ineffective over since his second year. While he is still young I am not sure this would be a good idea. Not to mention Morant isn’t a good player to mix with Giannis offensively.
  10. And people were saying I was crazy that there would be contraction in the minor leagues. This article also mentions the removal of A-ball level. This makes a lot of sense if they are going to reduce the number of rounds in the draft. The next CBA could be a really big change for the minor leagues.
  11. Don’t forget that the Brewers were heavily linked to Williams when he was drafted.
  12. Glad the Brewers traded Freddy as I am not sure I could go another season wondering if he would be good Freddy or bad Freddy in the first three innings at 70 pitches and only 1 out in the third inning. Really surprised the Brewers got this much in return for him.
  13. I have tried these in the past and they get throttled on data usage. Also lots of dropped calls even with a strong signal.
  14. Not surprised the Brewers asked for Williams in a trade if they even did. They were heavily connected to him when he was drafted.
  15. Depends on what you use your phone for. I need the unlimited data and a second line. Once you get to those requirements all of the cell phone providers are the same. Plus T-mobile provides a lot of other benefits.
  16. Just get T-mobile and get it for free.
  17. It’s because he didn’t change his middle name to Diego.
  18. Not even worth posting a link. While I love Andruw Jones. I am not sure he is HOF worthy. Beltran the same.
  19. I moved to Arizona so I don’t have to deal with the extreme cold. Heat I can deal with but the cold nope my body hates the cold.
  20. I just buy what Nancy is buying. I am sure going to miss her insider trading tips when she retires.
  21. The Steamdeck is made by Valve also known as Steam. SteamOS is a Linux based system so it can also run emulators. Valve is also developing a Steam machine, which they had earlier but dropped for some time but are bringing it back again. The Steamdeck and steam machine are basically consoles running on Linux. SteamOS is far more friendlier than some other Linux distributions. I have a Steamdeck and it is awesome. I bought the OLED version and bought that over the Switch. I have used it a few times for some long flights. I was able to use mine for a flight from London to Phoenix and only had to use a power bank about halfway through the flight. Can go for the whole flight without needing a charge but I didn't put it in battery saving mode. It is fairly easy to add Netflix and other streaming apps. The SteamOS is rather user friendly and there are a lot of user guides to follow if you get stuck. The one thing I do warn about the steam deck is that if you get an older version of the software there is an issue with it connecting to WiFi but I bought the docking station which solves for that issue as you can use an ethernet cord to a router and connect that way and update the software so it can recognize the WiFi. I think they have fixed this issue already and the stock software is newer and connects to WiFi easier. Though I do still prefer the docking station as it made it easier to watch movies and shows on the screen. There are only a few games that I have played on the Steamdeck X4 and Baldurs Gate 3. Most I don't like playing on the Steamdeck as the controls can get a bit funky so I only play the ones where I don't have to do all that much. https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck?tab=2
  22. This is funny coming from fans of the Packers and cheering on Aaron Rodgers when he said he owned the Bears. Where was this "act like you've been there before?"? Silence from Packers fans. Again Packers fans are the equivalent of the St. Louis Cardinals fans. Always stating they are the righteous ones and know how the game is supposed to be played and the gate keepers of what you should do on the field and off the field all the while ignoring their own players and coaches who are doing the things they say not to do. If you are upset over Johnson screaming F the packers then you are a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
  23. You are lucky.
  24. If the Dodgers offer the best package then you take that package. The Brewers have to build for the future and not just this upcoming season. The Brewers have to look 3-5 seasons ahead. It is just how MLB is for small market teams. From the sources I know and have asked there has been no names exchanged from any of the team’s that have contacted the Brewers. Basically it has just been asking if he is still available and that is about it.
  25. That was a Brett Favre play!!!
