  1. I saw the same thing! They were probably satellites all in the same orbit. Pretty sure you are wrong.....
  2. I know I shouldn't joke about this stuff but I keep on wondering when will the cleaners show up in NYC? FYI for those that don't know what I am talking about. https://thedivision.fandom.com/wiki/Cleaners
  3. I think Feliciano would be more comparable to Surhoff than Schroeder. Surhoff in 1987 rookie numbers: .299/.350/.423
  4. The government is still heavily regulated in paper so if there even was a willingness to do this it would take an act of god to get the US government to go from paper to digital. Currently in compliance for a bank and everything has to be on paper otherwise some departments are out of compliance. There are some other countries where paper is not needed and it is all digital. Unfortunately in the US that is not going to happen any time soon as the baby boomers and gen-x are still holding onto paper records being the standard. Gen-x is about as stubborn as the baby boomers are in not wanting to go digital.
  5. 2018 and 2019 seasons are available for free on mlb.com https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games
  6. No love for Cameron?
  7. Will teams get double the amount next year if MLB suspends international signings this year as they are rumored to be thinking about doing?
  8. I think it is because of the knee injury.
  9. That's because they executed them all. Can't spread the virus if you are dead.
  10. I am surprised he signed with someone but not surprised by it being the Raiders.
  11. Bridgewater to the Panthers well almost. Also I don't see how the Panthers will be able to trade Newton at least for anything valuable. I think the Panthers will just release him in a few weeks.
  12. Shouldn't matter now as the Bears just signed Quinn.
  13. The ones I have looked at havent removed Long yet but it has been a few weeks since I last looked.
  14. The Bears have cap room. They can release Floyd which gives them enough at $13m. Plus at some point Long drops off giving them another $8m in cap space I believe.
  15. Current estimate for the start of the season is mid May or later. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/coronavirus-mlb-opening-day-pushed-back-until-at-least-mid-may-owners-still-hoping-for-full-schedule/
  16. So my work just announced for my department everyone will be working from home. Which is a nightmare because previously they only gave out tokens to exempt employees to be able to work from home.
  17. UGGGG I am now on a rotation of working from home for a week and then in the office the following week. The one time I don't check my email over the weekend and this gets communicated on Sunday.
  18. I think they will play at least two weeks before beginning the playoffs to let teams get back into the flow of things again.
  19. A mudvayne reunion would be great. I'm listening to LD 50 as I type this. The last I heard Chad Gray wasn't all that keen on doing a reunion but that was back in 2016 maybe he has changed his mind since then?
  20. when I worked for a telecom company on the internal help desk, I worked for four years from home. WHen I started working from home, they did a survey and asked the 30 of us what we thought would be the pros and cons of working at home (No pants!) and I couldn't think of any cons. After 3 years those of us still on the WAH program took another survey, and I listed "an overwhelming sense of isolation" as one of the cons. There were weeks where I wouldn't leave the house unless my wife was like "dude, you look like a hobo". Working at home seems like it would be awesome, but it's not. There's a lot of drawbacks, and isolation is probably the biggest one. Isolation is the biggest drawback. I am not 100% social at my workplace due to my job being extremely demanding of my time especially when there are back to back meetings from when I get in to about 11am. When I do have some free time to stretch my legs and talk with the people around me it is a nice break in the day. Plus I prefer working at the office as I normally go to the bar across the street for lunch and have a beer or two. That allows me to relax and distress before coming back to work it also allows me to catch up on sports and news for the day or send out some text messages or phone calls.
  21. Whenever I tell someone I can work from home they are like oh that is wonderful I would love to work from home. I absolutely hate working from home I had to do it last week for a resiliency test because of the Coronavirus. Long story short I lost track of time and when I looked at my phone it was 7:30pm and I had been sitting at my desk working on stuff since 6am and I had only taken a 15min break for lunch. I absolutely hate working from home.
  22. Yes but at some point the price becomes to high and less and less people buy. Once the stock refills you gradually bring down the price to meet demand.
  23. If price gouging were to be legal it would fix this problem. No one is going to be buying toilet paper at $10 a roll. Price gouging allows for the market to self correct but we can't have that!
  24. I am not a big 70-80's metal fan so here is my list: 5. Lamb of God - Laid to Rest - an underrated metal band. 4. Pantera - Cowboys From Hell - Just a classic 90's metal sound. 3. Rage Against The Machine - Sleep Now in the Fire - one of the few songs I like from Rage for the machine I mean......... 2. Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache - I mean come on how many bands have had two awesome singers? 1. Slipknot - Spit It Out - This is a great headbanging and mosh pit song plus if you have ever been to a Slipknot concert you know what happens at the end with this song.
  25. Decision for NCAA tournament should becoming out tomorrow and I believe they will be cancelling the tournament.
