This is a money saving move for the Brewers.

I love Turang but there is no reason for the Brewers to extend him beyond his age 30 season.

MLB expansion also comes into play here I wouldn't be surprised if expansion in MLB comes with contraction in the minors with Nashville and whoever else gets a franchise losing a minor league team. I don't believe MLB would want a new franchise to be competing with a minor league team for ticket sales.

The Dbacks when they went to MLB broadcasting are on the same channel they were on when it was a regional sports network for cable. I am fairly confident this is what will happen with the Brewers though maybe not the same channel as the Bucks would still be playing and airing on TV for a portion of the Brewers season. No changes to the cable package occurred when this happened.

They haven’t announced a cable option yet. They said it would be closer to opening day. So don’t expect an announcement until the end of this month or the week of opening day.

Not really related but it sounds like the stadium should be up and ready for the 2028 season. Which I believe would be the next time the Brewers would play in Las Vegas. Cheapest tickets for a game according to the end of this segment for when the stadium is up would be in the $20-30 range.

I don’t have a Vizio tv but if you have the Vizio Sports Zone it should be there. Otherwise I think you can use the ESPN app.
