    Yeah, I want Hardy & Hart signed long term asap, and I hope Hardy is willing to play 3rd and 2nd along with SS. I think the trio of Hart, Hardy and Braun long term would be great for the Brewers.

    It's Sheets contract year and he wants a big payday. After some sucker gives him that big contract, "britttle" Ben will probably go down with various sorts of "injuries" and ailments like the previous 3 seasons. After this year, I don't think Sheets will pitch close to 197 innings until maybe his next contract year.

    Whenever the team needs him most, he whimpers out with an "injury". Typical Ben Sheets. No way in hell I'd give Sheets the big contract he's looking for.

    If Sveum leads the team to the playoffs in 08, he certainly deserves a shot to manage the Brewers in 2009.

    Big mistake by the Brewers to fire Kremblas, he is a very good manager. To me, Kremblas should've been the Brewers manager in 2008 and Yost should've been long gone. I can't understand why Yost has so much political power in the Brewers organization. Not only is his job security incredible and his biggest rival gets booted out, his son Ned Jr. gets employed as a coach despite having no coaching experience whatsoever. Can this be considered nepotism in the organization?

    Let's Go Dave Bush! Let's Go! Bush has been solid, hope he keeps it up. Brewers offense need to heat up.

    The US vs Cuba women's volleyball semis wasn't as exciting to watch as the Italian match. It wasn't close as the Americans won easily 3 sets to nil. It's the first finals in 24 years for the US, and they will play either world no.1 Brazil or China. Interestingly, the US coach is a former Chinese national player.

    In the women's football final, the underdog US beat the undefeated Brazillians with good defence and a sweet extra-time goal. The last 15 minutes was pretty exciting, but the Americans hold on for a 1-0 victory. Kobe Byrant was at the stadium watching the match.
