  1. This. Talk all you want about not walking Bellinger, leaving Woodruff in to long, etc. The pitching has been phenomenal, IMO the managing has as well. The offense is losing this series for us, plain and simple.
  2. I forwarded tickets to friends and did not get penalized
  3. There will be a lot of nervous energy tomorrow. Even if they know it's far from over, most Brewers fans today FEEL like the series is over. This team is different and special, but it's hard to suppress a lifetime of Brewers fanhood and the years of letdown that has come with it. That's certainly not to say any result at this point would make the 2018 season a letdown, just that a lifetime of it has its effect on a fan's psyche. If the Brewers get down early, the air will be sucked right out of Miller Park, just like in game 6 in 2011. If the Brewers get up early, especially if they build a few run lead, then I expect Miller Park to start rocking. I expect game 7 would be the loudest Miller Park has ever been.
  4. I think StubHub fees and price of sale are irrelevant. The Brewers are trying to protect against their tickets being bought in large volume, then sold at higher than face value by people trying to take advantage to make a profit. Whether it's the seller or StubHub that ultimately rakes in that profit isn't their concern. That said, your point of differentiating someone who sold one ticket versus 20 is very fair. But, I'd venture to guess the vast majority of people that got locked out were those trying to make money. All the Brewers had to do was give fair warning, offer to buy back any extras people might have without penalty, and it wouldn't be an issue. That, IMO, was their big mistake.
  5. Yep. 20-pack holder here, I bought extra tickets for the NLDS and NLCS. Did not resell any on the secondary market for profit, just to friends and family for face value (or less). I had no issue with the presale for the World Series. Honestly...I don't think it's bogus to withhold selling extra tickets to people that bought extras and sold them on the secondary market. It's such a huge problem, and the vast majority of people that do it are just trying to take advantage and make a profit. For those that couldn't sell to a friend, I bet you could've sold the ticket back to the Brewers by contacting your ticket rep. That said, the Brewers definitely should've warned everyone this would happen before cutting off the resellers.
  6. I think 2-2-1-1-1 should be the way the series are lined up That will never happen in baseball. Need to get the season over with before November and can’t have that many travel days.
  7. Already annoyed by anyone who finds reasons Counsell lost these games. These games were lost by Cain (yesterday), Yelich, Aguilar, Moustakas, Schoop, and Perez. Period. Hard stop.
  8. It’s baseball, so when you’re scuffling it always looks bad. But wow have our best players laid an ansolte egg thus far
  9. IF we lose this series (no im not announcing it’s over), everyone will obsess over Counsell’s bullpen strategy and completely ignore our offense being the clear reason for our struggles.
  10. Man, these national announcers are continually baffled by Counsell’s strategy of using his best pitchers as much as possible
  11. Seriously, get someone up. Gio is trash and he’s only planned for 2 anyway
  12. I really want CC to pull Gio after one batter for one of our righties, mainly because the head of every single FS1 analyst would explode
  13. This. I’d prefer JJ not be the last line of defense in his next appearance, but he had some vintage JJ stuff tonight.
  14. Well, at least now some people can understand why letting Hader finish the game wasn’t such a terrible idea?
  15. Except that he has. And in the playoffs, he should. Ok fair enough, but we all know Craig would prefer he not go back-to-back,
  16. Hader will never pitch back to back games. There are two options here: 1) Let him pitch now to lock up this game, and be available for game 5. 2) Let someone else finish this game, then have Hader available for either game 4 OR 5. Not both. There are reasonable arguments for each, I have zero problem with this.
  17. This. But give someone else the 8th, with a very short leash, to save him pitches so he’s good for game 5. Seems like an ideal situation to get JJ’s confidence back...
  18. Part of the reason the Brewers won 95 (96) games this year is they stuck to their philosophy that a new bullpen arm is better the 3rd time through the order than the starter again. Chacin is done, and had a hell of a night.
  19. Roberts May have to make a decision with Buehler batting 3rd here and no offense to speak of to this point.
