    I believe the Golden Ale is the 1st part in their R & D beer series that are available only at the brewery. I haven't been out there since the new place opened so i will be going soon!

    reminds me of Sabathia last year coming out to pitch the ninth against the Astros when we were up by 7 runs or so. At least Sabathia wasn't a rookie though.

    Most of the local breweries do NOT ship nationally, as far as I know. If I were you, I'd do something like a get a sample pack of New Glarus, Central Waters, or Sprecher beer. New Glarus would definitely be my favorite. these are nice because they do a good job of hitting on a lot of the different styles. If you have any questions about specific beers let me know and I will do my best. By the way I think this is a great idea.

    I hate the fact that drinking seems to take away the ability of people to ignore a dumb comment. The entire game consists of one guy yelling "Cubs suck" and then a Cubs fan standing up and yelling "bleep you" or whatever. Its unfortunate because these teams play a lot of nailbiters and it would be nice to enjoy the game. I love to have a few beers before the game and maybe a drink or two inside, but I think of the 400 or so games I've been to, only 1 time have I been to the point where I didn't even know what was really going on in the game. I regretted it.

    grilled out rib eyes for my birthday yesterday. I made a rub consisting of: 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 tablespoons garlic salt 2 tablespoons pepper 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon paprika 1 teaspoon cumin. Patted the steaks dry and massaged the rub in. grilled at 500 degrees for 4-5 minutes each side. then turned grill down to medium and let steaks hit about 135 degrees with the meat thermometer. Perfect medium to medium rare goodness http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif This was one of the best steaks i've ever had. I always try something different, but I might go back to this one.

    If I was in belgium I'd be drinking a belgian beer that i was unable to get here. I support almost all of Wisconsin's microbreweries but this logic seems a bit crazy. If I was fortunate to be drinking in Europe, I'd hope I could find something that tastes better than a Miller product.

    I work in delafield and everyone here is freaking out about it. my question is this: why would they cancel the next 5 1/2 days of school before they even have confirmation that it is the swine flu? It seems like a bit of an overreaction.

    They have specials before every home brewer game. OK so i don't want to detail this thread because brats are a favorite of mine. This weekend I'm firing up the grill and will also have to try that relish. The perfect brat for me is: simmered in beer, onion, and garlic, and served on a hard brat bun with some large banana peppers and some home made brat sauce that I like to make.

    I like to drink beer in the parking lot, which is why I avoid Miller and Bud. I do usually bring Sprecher, New Glarus, or Central Waters to the game. So I'm still supporting wisconsin http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    I don't know if it's Top 5 for me, but it's a favorite, and it tastes esp. great out of the keg if you ever get the chance. Anyone know when New Glarus' new facility opens? I'm gonna be in Ole Sconnie in August and hope to check it out. It should be open by early to mid summer. They are already brewing a lot of their beer there. I'll let you know if I get a more exact date, as I try to keep in touch with people around there. There will be a lot of good beers for you to grab when you get there. I got confirmation 2 weeks ago that they are making a series of beer called the R & D series that will only be available at the brewery. I hope they are ready for you when you get there!
