  1. I’d welcome some underwhelming moves. They have three extra late round picks in 2020 (from Trevor Davis, Reggie Gilbert, and Ty Montgomery) and I’d like to see them use those picks to upgrade their depth for a playoff run.
  2. Careful. I've been told not to question it because all those yards are from garbage time. I don’t get to read IGT during the game since I have to watch delayed on my DVR due to kids - so I didn’t see this last night. The irony in your post is amusing. Now, I’m sure you were frustrated with the craptacular tackling and D at that point of the game but I did chuckle when reading that post. This is pretty typical of the IGTs. What else would you expect after the defense gave up 17 straight points? The frustration was warranted.
  3. I think Reid made the right call, there was 5 minutes left and the Packers had to get 3 first downs to ice it. If they don't convert ithe 4th down even if you do stop the Packers from getting a first down they probably have a shot at a long FG to put it out of range. It's close though, close enough that I would say 4th and 3 from midfield instead of their 40 you do go for it. And really even good offensive teams can struggle with the 4 minute offense, especially when they are pinned back like that. We got that initial first down with 3 runs, that was huge. I know it’s easy for me to second guess him from my couch, but the Packers second half possessions up to that point were FG-TD-TD. What made Reid think his defense would come up with a stop?
  4. 16 million people watched SNF last night, while only 10 million watched the World Series. MLB needs to invite more Instagram models to their games. Instead, they’re kicking them out.
  5. In retrospect, I’m surprised the Chiefs punted on their last drive. When they’re playing with 4 downs, it’s really hard to stop a desperate team with talent.
  6. I wasn’t wrong about this. They went FG-TD-TD-0:00 and won by 7.
  7. He’s got a club on tonight.
  8. I like the sarcasm, but with the way this board can be so negative in-game (myself included), I had to re-read your comment a few times.
  9. We haven’t seen much from MVS tonight. Time for a big score.
  10. Yeah, I though the facemask grab was pretty obvious. I’m OK with it too. Can’t make those types of mistakes.
  11. Wouldn’t hurt but hate to give up picks for a rental. We need to invest picks in skill players soon. Look what great speed at WR has done for Moore... I read an article on CBS Sports that mentioned the Bengals and Redskins were being stubborn and were almost dillusional about their status as sellers.
  12. I thought that too. They’ve certainly been close and I’d rather they let both sides just play.
  13. Part of that is probably Arrowhead.
  14. A bit of hyperbole, but I feel like the Packers will need to score on every possession to win tonight.
  15. But it probably will be 24-14 by the time Rodgers touches the ball again.
  16. Matt Moore is 15-15 as a starter. Much better than I would have guessed.
  17. I’ll take the Chiefs 30-27 tonight. I say that a little tongue in cheek because I’ve picked against the Packers a lot lately (why stop now?), but it’s Arrowhead. The Packers are 1-4 all-time in KC. Enjoy the game, BF. Go Pack!
  18. At least they can count on a high pick next year ... oh, wait
  19. I have little sympathy for teams who can’t get stadiums built. Green Bay figured out how to raise $295 million for the Lambeau Field renovation. That’d be over $400 million in today’s dollars. Now does that happen without the 90s renaissance? Maybe. Maybe not. * Brown County did it alone without any help from the state (looking at you, Milwaukee Bucks).
  20. Mahomes practicing has to be a smokescreen, right? When you dislocate your knee (or any joint), it becomes increasingly easier to dislocate it again. There are too many parallels to the RG3 situation here. Rest him and get him right. The AFC is weak, anyway.
  21. The Chiefs will be Mahomeless. This is a huge opportunity to pick up a win at Arrowhead, which has been a house of horrors for the Packers (1996, 2011).
  22. Yeah, too steep. But hey, they practically have a bye to the AFC Championship Game. They know their window is closing. If you’re them, why not?
  23. The Patriots trade for Mohamed Sanu because of course.
