  1. Yes, I should add that I don’t believe in booing a team that I am cheering for. As others have noted, I can’t imagine how it is productive. Having said that, I find the actions of the Mets players appalling. They are professionals - act like it. Not every one in the stands is booing them so it is disgraceful for the players to act this way.
  2. Having been to both Yankees and Mets games - the fan base and game experience are actually very different.
  3. What a bunch of morons.
  4. Ah good times. The procedure is far easier than the prep
  5. I thought you didn’t have to stay down for 10 days if you were an injury replacement? But maybe I am confused.
  6. I am happy for Bickford as long as he doesn’t do well against us. He looked so scared when he was pitching for us, he really didn’t inspire any confidence.
  7. Probably too late but it would be good to push Freddy back a day so we don’t end up wasting his turn on a two inning start followed by long rain delay.
  8. You know it’s funny, we always comment on how good the other team is. The fans of all of those teams are saying the same thing about the Brewers and looking at the pitching matchups which usually favor us.
  9. I see Weigel was outrighted to AAA today. I am glad he is still in the org. Depth is a good thing.
  10. That’s awful. Homer - I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to add the context. I appreciate it.
  11. Can you provide some details? I can’t see the link for some reason.
  12. Good. Let’s hope he can figure it out
  13. I like this one a lot. Helps now and next year (and beyond)
  14. The Cubs are getting far more talent back in their trades than I was hoping.
  15. I was thinking the same thing. Seems like Washington has more selling to do but are bogged down trying to finalize the Scherzer deal.
  16. I had the same thought. I really do not see a spot for Shaw on the team. Time to trade him and maybe Vogey an some of the upcoming rule 5 guys for something - if they can.
  17. I guess I don’t really agree that the return was that light for Rizzo. Alcantara would probably be our top rated prospect. Fangraphs slotted him at number 2 for the Cubs. They put vizcaino at 11
  18. I was really hoping the Cubs wouldn’t sell and would try to hold on for the remainder of the year. I would like them to continue to torpedo their own future.
  19. I would love to count on Topa but I already fell for that in the past when I believed Jimmy Nelson would come back from injury and be huge for us down the stretch.
  20. I think Bowden has proven that he does not understand value very well
