    I'd love to see three solid innings from Yovani and Difelice each. I'd also like to see the offense put up some big numbers against the lefty. I'm predicting a big night for Rickie and a bigger night for Braun. We can do this!!! Harden should keep the Cubs in it.

    Argh, my gameday quit working. Have to listen to Pittsburgh stream. They are harping about how dangerous yet undisciplined our hitters are.

    While Torres pitches I think we should move an outfielder to the middle of the infield. 85% of the hits go right up the gut.

    This game is feeling like a perfect representation of this season. Good Bush, Bad Bush, Good Cam, Bad Kam...in the end, it is just going to break our hearts and feel like a foot to the crotch. I can just feel it.

    Hopefully Bush can save our pen today and Yo can combine with some other arms Thursday. Give CC the ball Wednesday for a short start (5/6 innings) which leaves him as the best option on Sunday if necessary. Yo/Newhouse/Difelice could do well on Thursday. I really hope this doesn't end like last season.

    This will hopefully be a fun series for the Crew. I'd like to see Braunie get rest today so he can be well rested for the next 5 games. Doubt that'll happen, but maybe cortizone will do.

    Today's Trib ranked the teams that Cubs may get in the first round from most favorable to least favorable. They'd prefer to play AZ then LA then NY. They see the Phils as the worst option against the Cubs. Personally, if I were a cub fan, I'd be so happy that the D'Backs are out of it. I don't think the Cubs will do us any favors and fully expect that if anyone stuns the Mets, it will be the Fish.

    Cam is so frustrating. He is one of the key players who has just been terrible this month. Put him back in the 7 spot or something.

    Gameday is a mess. I have no idea what happened that inning...fielders choice with no one out? Throwing error on Prince to catch Izturis? Pick off or caught stealing? So confused. I may as well turn Biden on.

    Hope leaving that run there doesn't come back and bite us. Not sure I agree with leaving Parra in there. We need to keep his innings down.

    Yep. I imagine he'll be done after 5 then. Vargas killed out pen. So glad that we cut him. Just wish we could've traded him to the Mets for Nelson Figeroua so we wouldn't have to have been embarassed by him.

    This is going to be a long and stressful game...It is just setting up to be a seesaw. I feel like the players are expecting something to happen after the 7th so they are going through the motions right now.

    I just don't understand what is wrong with Bill. I keep thinking that he'll turn t around but he has just kept getting worse and worse.

    Anyone know why Karstens was pushed back? He has stifled a few teams so I'm not upset skipping him. Hopefully Soup doesn't get hit like the Dodger game. Thank goodness that game was played in LA and not at Miller. Would've been a blowout otherwise.
