  1. Just saw on twitter that Magic Johnson's ownership group has been awarded the LA Dodgers. Very interesting to say the least. I think it's pretty cool.
  2. There's no way anything will get added to the card. Rock/Cena and HHH/Taker alone will take up a lot of the show. Especially if you include backstage stuff with them, videos, interviews, entrances, etc. That'll take up a ton of time. Then Jericho/Punk and Sheamus/Bryan will get a good amount of time too. That will leave little time for the other 4 matches. The Divas match will be like 2-3 mins, the Teddy/Johnny match will be like 5-6, and the Rhodes/Show and Orton/Kane matches will both be 8-10 mins max if that. I checked and last year's show had 1:42:51 of in-ring time. The top 4 matches this year may get almost that alone. We all know HHH/Taker will be at least 30 mins, and if the other 3 are 20 on average, that's 1:30 right there.
  3. It's pretty widely known, and has been reported, that Karl had problems personally with the Big Three, especially Big Dog, and to a lesser extent Allen. He wanted Gary Payton so badly, that he forced the trade. No way that trade happens if Karl isn't the coach. That was a horrible return for Allen. Big Dog being traded was ok, but no way Allen should've been traded at that point. Especially not for an expiring contract. Karl's love for Gary Payton is directly what caused that trade.
  4. Pretty sure that is referring to Mark Henry. He has said recently that he wants to finish up when his deal expires this year, and pursue acting possibly. Pretty sure Khali is only back for a short time though, so he'll probably be gone at some point too.
  5. Yeah, probably pretty easy to not notice McIntyre, lol. As far Christian, his ankle isn't fully healed yet. Apparently they thought he'd be ready when they added him to the team.
  6. Latos left his start today with an apparent injury. Could be another blow to the Reds.
  7. Contract details per Rosenthal. http://mlbbuzz.yardbarker.com/blog/mlbbuzz/breaking_down_lucroys_extension_with_brewers/10412794
  8. Yep, I'll never forgive Karl for dismantling the Big Three. We had a team that had gone to the ECF, and would've gone to the NBA Finals if not for the refs conspiring against us. Then he decided it was a good idea to trade Big Dog, followed by the worst trade in Bucks history by trading Ray Allen for Gary Payton. I would've fired Karl before I let him push me into those idiotic trades. So when you look at it, yeah it really all comes back to Kohl. He let Karl strong arm him into dismantling the best team the Bucks had in years and years.
  9. Not a chance. He'll drop off sooner rather than later.
  10. Laurinaitis announced on twitter right after Christian was ruled out that it was McIntyre. And McIntyre was also out there with Team Johnny later on in Raw, so it should've been obvious. But yeah, Raw sucked. Too many video packages, the wrestling sucked. Didn't really do much to sell Wrestlemania. HHH and Taker didn't even appear. Pretty lame. The Rock/Cena promo at the end was pretty good though.

  12. Morgan Bobble pics are in. 5,000 get him throwing the T. http://mlblogsbrewers.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/img_0970.jpg?w=129&h=302 http://mlblogsbrewers.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/img_1134.jpg?w=129&h=300
  13. I like the idea. Will probably end up saving us money over time, just like a deal with Axford would. Makes a lot of sense.

  15. I see your new here, so I fixed it for you.
  16. Hey guys, I'm starting my league up again this year. I know a few people on here played last year. But just seeing if anyone's interested. It's currently a 10-team, but I'm going to add people on top of whoever returns, so it'll likely be bigger. It's a standard H2H 5x5 ESPN league. I'll probably hold the draft on April 2 or 3. PM me your email address if interested. Thanks.
  17. The Marlins home run thing in action. After seeing pictures I didn't think it could get worse, but it did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJqm8ybv4Uw&feature=youtu.be
  18. This really doesn't surprise me at all. Marcum likely wants more money than he deserves, so Melvin would rather just focus on Greinke. It was clear that Greinke was the first option all along anyway. I doubt Melvin seriously ever considered extending Marcum, and probably won't unless he can't keep Greinke.
  19. That's a pretty good idea. Far less likely he'd get claimed if we went that route. It's a definite possibility.
  20. In other news, it seems like a Miz/Foley twitter war could be underway. Foley is teasing being the last member of Team Long also. I also heard ADR is not gonna be the last member of Team JL, so maybe they give Miz that slot. Then they could set up a Miz/Foley feud. Foley could help Miz get back to relevance, and the next PPV is Extreme Rules so I could see them having a good Falls Count Anywhere match or something. Foley is the King of Hardcore after all.
  21. Doubtful. Pretty sure he enjoys coming around once a year for a huge payday. Who wouldn't? He can handle one match a year. Personally, I'd like to see him retire. I just don't see it happening. Maybe he'll retire at Wrestlemania 30.
  22. Keep in mind that we're talking about a backup IF spot here, actually basically the last spot on the roster. It's not that bad to be mentioning Theriot. He's not a good starter, but he'd be fine as a bench player. A lot better than Izturis in my opinion.
  23. Pretty impressive feat for the kid, even though it's just a ST game. Has to feel good. Also, he wasn't even supposed to be in the lineup today. 3B in 1st, 2B in 2nd, 1B in 6th, HR in 8th. Congrats to Scooter! He's looking like a rock solid prospect for us. Mods feel free to move this if need be. Wasn't sure where to put it.
  24. Yeah, I'm pulling for McClendon. He's done really well in his time in the majors, and this ST as well. I have a feeling they'll go with Dillard because he has no options left. Although, outrighting Dillard would clear an extra spot for when Rogers needs to be activated. The 2 open spots now will go to the backup IFs most likely.
