  1. I saw someone report that doug has been pretty firm on getting 2 players for parra. Hopefully it's Davies and reyes (not holding my breath though). Davies is pretty solid though.
  2. Davies would be a pretty nice return but id rather they take on a project like reyes and cisco. Both could become solid prospects in a year. Decent chance they could get both of them.
  3. What in the world are the angels doing? Trading for 3 outfielders in what, 2 days? I know it takes one suitor for parra off the list but also makes the OF trade bait pile smaller. Doug really should get his trades going before no one needs what we have.
  4. I think those guys need to figure out how averages work. I understand how the 20-80 scale works but how does 60/50/45/40 equal a 40 overall score? just an example, not pointing out any certain score but if you check out the scores there are a lot that look similar to that.
  5. He was sitting next to josh uhen. He didnt have a name card at first but they made him one after a few minutes. I had a random foul ball that was in pretty decent shape with me and he signed it and inscribed college world series on it. Then he took a picture with my kids and gave them high 5s.
  6. After the no hitter, hamels gets schwarber and baez from the cubs. I know schwarber is a big deal in Chicago right now but they can afford to lose him.
  7. Nathan Kirby was signing at todays game even though he isnt on the roster yet. Seems like a very nice young man.
  8. I have a couple extras from todays t-rats game I'm looking to move. Will sell or trade. Need either of the t-rats lucroy bobbles and also have a bunch of holes in my collection i need to fill. Lmk if you need one.
  9. This "reporter" is an idiot.
  10. Right now there are 3 prospects Id trade him for corey seager, julio urias or lucas giolito. That is it. No reason to trade him for anything else. Ace level pitcher or super stud 3b (dont think seager stays at short and 3b is more of a need for mil).
  11. I just realized i have an extra coulter bobble. Looking to trade it for either of the lucroy t-rats or something to fill in some holes in my collection. Would also sell. Lmk- Kevin
  12. Matt didnt seem all that amused by that prank. Even after that guy said it was just a joke, he still looked a bit grumpy about it.
  13. Mets are looking for an outfielder also. We could get a nice return for him and segura if they're still looking to upgrade at shortstop.
  14. Is Betts expected to be a tough sign?
  15. How the talent in this years draft compared to what is supposed to be available for next years drafts? From what i understand, this is a kinda down year. If it's supposed to be better next year, can you draft daz if he's available and not give him the insane bonus he wants and have 2 first rounders next year? Does it work like that?
  16. Um...do you even know the minors at all? There's some dude called Byron Buxton who plays CF and should be called up soon...perhaps you've heard of him. Unless you put Gomez at DH which is completely idiotic there's nowhere for Gomez in MN. No need to be so condescending. Buxton is hitting .270 in AA and not really lighting the world on fire so there is no reason to call him up anytime soon. Also gomez's contract is up after next season, which is a much more realistic time for bux to be ready. That being said, I could see a want for go-go there but highly doubt he would be a target for them. I think the twins have been playing above their heads so far and think them being hard core buyers this year would be a mistake.
  17. I could see a gomez + pitching trade with the Astros. I'm not a huge fan of Moran though. He doesn't have the power that a corner IF his size should. He hits for a nice average but his defense isn't great. Better to target guys like D.J. Davis and (especially) A.J Reed. Josh Hader would be a nice pitcher to go after also.
  18. There is also no AAA league in the Midwest (Midwest league is low-a) so they can't just throw them in anywhere. With a few exceptions, minor league teams are independently owned and have contracts with milb leagues that guarantee them a place in the league. I'm sure Colorado springs can't be worse the the Beloit snappers field.
  19. I kinda disagree. look at the comments on any article that so much as mentions ryan or the brewers on every baseball website and you will still see how big of a deal it is among baseball fans.
  20. I missed on Hunter Morris in a big bad way. I picked up at least 15 autographed cards and 8 game used cards of him, as well as a signed bat. I figured he'd be taking over for Prince and be the next Mark teixeira.
  21. The deal boston gave porcello is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably insane. It make no sense at all. Imagine what Jordan Zimmerman will get next year if that is used as a benchmark.
  22. Definitely some bright futures among the pitchers. Hopefully most of them work out, it'd be nice to have some home grown impact arms. I haven't heard much about magnifico, looks like he is having a nice start to coming out of the pen. Is he still hitting 100+ with that fastball?
  23. If Oakland matches up for a deal with the brewers for ANYONE, Matt Olson better be part of the return.
  24. Montero is hitting pretty well right now but nearly 2 seasons of lind is worth more than him. I still can't believe we got him for Estrada. Edwin Diaz and Patrick Kivlehan are who should be targeted for a rebuild. Ryan Yarbrough would be great also (brewers drafted him in 2013 but he didn't sign).
  25. What's that about magnifico? He's on the Biloxi roster. Oh, you mean as a starter? I always figured he would profile more as a closer due to his size and the speed of his fastball anyway.
