I don't really think Anderson has more value then aoki. He's thrown less then 200 innings total over the last 3 years and is owed 20 mil over the next 2. The talent is there but is a huge injury risk.

Hey, how about aoki for Brett Anderson and cash(maybe around 8 mil). A's need to move him and his ground ball numbers would be great in Milwaukee.

I doubt the marlins would really want Schafer in return for Morrison since they already have a better version of him in Jake marisnick.

Deal done. Actually makes sense for both sides. Kinsler fills Detroits need at 2nd, frees up first for miggy, extension money for scherzer. Opens 2b up for profar, fills need at 1st, puts some power in rangers offence. Good deal all around.

If Johnson makes 7 or less starts, the padres have a 4.5 m option for 2015. Not a bad throw in for them.

I'm sure that Doug really isn't to totally blame for the development of pitchers. The front office needs to do something about scouting and player development.

If Braun plays 1b, i wonder how long until someone intentionally stomps his ankle or runs through his leg? He's not a very popular guy around the league and there could be a lot of "incidental" contact made at that corner.

I kinda like the idea of signing James loney for a year. He lacks power but he gets on base and we have plenty of power everywhere else. He's a fairly good defensive 1b as well.

Maybe if the mets include a pitcher (Steve Matz maybe) . How will that effect aoki bobblehead day? The front office kinda handcuffed most trade possibilities by releasing promotion list for next year already.

I would trade segura for Simmons in a heartbeat. Simmons is already one of the top 5 defensive players in the league. His bat is not all that bad either. -
I'd really like to see josh johnson a 1 year+ an option or 2.

Segura for miller and kozma? I know kozma is no prized piece but he's better then our next option. That being said, I don't want segura traded. -
I'd love trumbo to wear brewer blue next year but sadly I don't think we'd have the pitching they'd be looking for. I'm sure they could get 2 top 75-100 prospects for him.

I wouldnt get too excited about it if I were you. He's had a rough post season, he was still great throughout the regular season and I doubt he's "fallen out of favor". Watch him homer in game 6 and tigers fan will only talk about how great he is. Cabrera isn't horrible at third either, he's just pretty bad.

Their list bothers me a lot. I went to at least 30 snappers games this summer and saw a lot of the guys on the list. Besides Taylor and Wagner, Tyler Pike and Victor Sanchez really should have been on there. Renato Nunez should have made the list as well. Kinda hard to say who should be taken off though. -
What's the knock on ratterree? I know he wasn't a big name coming out of this last draft but everything I saw about the brewers getting him when they did was that it was a great value pick and a 10th round steal. He was the league MVP and had a great first pro year and then is 16th on the prospect list?

Khris never being a top prospect should be completely irrelevant. He is the same player he has been throughout his entire time in the minors. He has done nothing but mash with big power, decent speed, and not a very strong arm. If he was drafted by the Rangers, he would have been a top 70-80 guy easily.

Is it just me or did Baltimore give more to get k-rod then they did to get bud? Hoes is a nice player but he's essentially Logan Schafer but not quite as good defensively- just from what I've heard, I don't know Baltimore's farm system that well. Hader looks like he might be pretty good though.

White Sox are asking for the moon -actually- the moon, stars, Pluto, and heaven -for peavy. I get that they are trying to rebuild but between the prospects they are asking for on top of not wanting to pay any of the remaining contract, they need to get their heads out from their backsides before realistic deals are made and no one needs peavy. -
