  1. My Folks went and bought these things. They said that it was a complete rip off. Didn't really help anything. Wonder if just getting a nice set of insoles would work, although I know some of them could be pricey too. Go on Web MD, one of my friends went on there with a foot problem, and they pointed him at a insole/brace that straightened out his foot, and the thing only cost like $20 over the internet.
  2. Sorry it's a little late, but thank for all that you guys do. Don't know what I would do at work all day without this site.
  3. What about Listach's coaching style leads you to this conclusion? Does it have to do with anything besides the fact that he was a Brewer at one time?I don't care if they get a coach from the 1982 team or the 1992 team, we need to look outside the box for the next coach. Someone who wasn't a a Brewer at one time. I guess I'm just getting frustrated with all the look from within talk.
  4. If Pat Listach gets the job I quit!
  5. The guy I really wanted to see get a shot was Kremblas, but with that option out the window, I'd have to say Mattingly or Valentine.
  6. I think that Milwaukee really dropped the ball on this one. Ned's got to go, and what are they afraid of with Kremblas? That he'll win too much. The only reason that he did bad this year, in my opinion, is that the didn't move up any of the good young talent from AA. Who did they really have, Nix, Iraberren, Gwynn? Come on, give me a break! Hope that he get's a shot somewhere else, and if he doesn't it's a shame. I've always liked Kremblas, and thought that he should get a shot when Nedly get's fired.
  7. For the love of god don't use Amcore, don't know if they are down in the Milwaukee area, but I had to go there to secure my WHEDA home loan, and they sucked. Every time I was supposed to close, they moved my closing date, and jacked up my closing cost, and not a little, I'm talking my original closing costs were supposed to be 3k, and by the end of it, it was 7k. Rediculous. They kept on blaming WHEDA, but my uncle works there so he investigated, and my loan had been approved through them for 3 and a half weeks. I would keep my money under my matress before I kept it with them!!! My folks have also had some really bad problems with them, with there personal, and business accounts.
  8. Pretty sweet man
  9. I'm normally a pretty big Weeks fan, but his defense lately has been dismal (as if the 1st half wasn't bad enough). In the off season, I'd like to see a completely revamped defense. Trade Fielder, Weeks, and Hall (If that would even be possible, which I doubt.) In an ideal world, I would like to see Gamel at 1st, Find someone at second possibly Roberts from Baltimore, Escobar at SS, and Hardy at 3rd(although doubt that would happen). I think that would be a pretty solid infield, although you would have a pretty big learning curve at first, but could he really be any worse than Fielder. That or possibly try to go hire a big bat at 3rd, but I think that putting Escobar anywhere other than SS is a waste.
  10. Very impressive. What's the song playing in the background?
  11. I Don't think that Rickie is a leadoff hitter. I think that he'd be better at a 5-7 position to take a little pressure off him. If we can't do that, I say we trade him and move on. Does anyone know what spot he batted in the order in college? I just don't see him ever being a stud leadoff hitter.
  12. That's just a classy move on his part.

    Cuil

Not a big fan, just pretty messed up, and the layout is way to busy.
  14. Head over to Jolly Bob's on Willy St. if your getting drinks. They also have some pretty good carribean food even though I haven't had much there other than the appetizers. Cool atmosphere with salt water fish tanks, and reggae music, and the music isn't so loud that you can't hear the other person talk. It's a little hole in the wall bar, that I think might be one of the best kept secrets in Madison.
  15. Good luck on those tickets. I know several people close to the program, and they told me I'd be better off going to stub hub. No offense, but I'm not going to pay $100 a ticket for a game. The only ones that they got left is Cal Poly
  16. I miss El Pollo Loco out in Cali. SOOOOOOOO Good, but it does seem to have that laxitive effect that steak and shake does. Long live "The Crazy Chicken"
  17. He's still alive?
  18. Couldn't agree more about the Unions, pensions, etc. In my opinion GM is just a poorly run company with an inferior product. This is a perfect example of how a Union is killing the industry for American cars, and the companies unwillingness to change with the times.
  19. I don't know if I'd give up on Weeks quite yet. Yes he is injury prone, but I think that he has a huge upside. They just need to find a way to move him out of the leadoff spot. Prince will be gone. Probably get a number 2 or 3 starter for him. Possibly along the lines of a Phil Hughes type young talent. Maybe ship Prince and HOF Jr. (Gwynn) to San Diego for Peavy. I know this won't happen just a thought.
  20. St. Louis was a blast when we went there last year. We didn't get to see the Crew play, so we're heading back for the series after the all star break. Downtown can be a ghost town at times, but we had a blast at the game. Nice stadium, and everything that you would really need is pretty close. We had a good time at the landing, but we were only in town for 2 days, so we didn't get a chance to explore much.
  21. The Oaks up by the Madison area is pretty nice, along with University Ridge, and Hawk's Landing (Private Course, but they do have some Public times during the week.) Haven't golfed to much in Milwaukee, but I did go to Fire Ridge. I guess they play a GMO Qualifier there, and it was like $70 with a cart. It was tough, but fun.
  22. That would be the Trifecta
  23. I Live in Madison also, but would be more than willing to head down there, I also know the guy at The Oaks (Course just off the 90-94 by Sun Prarie) That organizes outings there, if you need a contact. He also might know some people in the Milwaukee area to talk too.
