  1. It's actually not. You can make dozens of things in them. When I originally got mine it was $200 though so it was much easier to accept I'd just use it for pizza. I have the pellet model and use it nearly every weekend. I'll second that it definitely has a learning curve, sometimes a steep one. I've had random weeks where I mess the dough up or over-flower and burn it...it can be an exact science. However when you nail it, the results are incredible. if you eat a lot of pizza and want to take the time to make great pizza they are very cool to have. I've never had delivery since I got mine.
  2. Nope, but if he were the first and last to act like that, then you'd have a valid point. This stuff happens in the NFL constantly. Not to mention, I think you are making the situation you speak of quite a bit more dramatic than it was... That's kind of the point. The world stops specifically only when Rodgers is seen yelling at someone and it becomes a 3-week soap opera about his body language. Nobody cares when it's Tom Brady or Dak Prescott, who also doesn't have 7 Super Bowls.
  3. There's a decent chance Rodgers doesn't play the final week if we don't need to win. I'd like to see Turner, DBhak, Jaire and Z at least get on the field before the playoffs.
  4. This is where I am. Brady would likely win it because he threw 40 last year and didn't get it, then won the SB. They "owe" him one for what he did last season. Rodgers has fatigue going for him, and they had no choice last year with the stats he had. He'd have a better chance of winning it next season if he was good again and they win the SB this year. I think you have to look at Taylor now, too. If he has some nice stat padding down the stretch here I do think he gets it by way of no Madden-esque QB this season.
  5. Sorry, but Rodgers is clearly better than Brady and I'm biased or whatever, but I'm pretty impartial when it comes to this sort of thing. Nobody actually watching those 2 play this season could logically conclude that Brady is better. I don't think Rodgers has a chance at MVP this year due to fatigue + Covid fiasco. The interception Brady threw last night typified the difference between those two guys for me. Get Brady moving and he is useless if forced to throw off balance. It is a throw that Rodgers makes in his sleep. What Brady has done in the twilight of his career is incredible but Rodgers is still making every throw.
  6. I'm sure we'll hear a lot about Tom's negative body language this week.
  7. Yeah the Saints are kind of a scary matchup. The battles for the 6 and 7 seeds are going to be fun to see unfold.
  8. The Packers were in control of their spot but this game has big consequences. I believe it moves Dallas up to #2 now with Arizona also losing today. Arizona goes from #1 to #5 in the span of a week with a Rams victory. If the season ended today it sets up a potential McCarthy-Rodgers NFCCG
  9. One of the likely outcomes of OT is that Rodgers gets the ball and scores a TD in 5 plays. When Rodgers is on the other team I don't see any problem at all with trying to go up 32-31 and then hoping you can prevent a FG in 40 seconds. There is really no way to love your chances when Rodgers is on the other side of the field. If anything I would have run the clock down more before scoring and THEN gone for 2. But I don't see any egregious coaching flaw in doing what they did.
  10. Going for 2 was 100% fine. Anyone harping on that some horrible call is really being disingenuous given what BAL was up against today. The 4th down attempt at the end that failed was also a call I would have made. I probably would have kicked the FG on the game's opening drive but I can see why he'd want them to play with house money today.
  11. That's why you don't play analytics five minutes into the game. He had other aggressive calls that worked out fine. I don't know how many times this sort of discussion has to happen before people acknowledge that these scenarios don't exist in a vacuum and the events that follow are changed by the decisions. You can't just tack 3 points on to the final score and go "See, he was wrong."
  12. I like it if they would pretty much won the game…but Rodgers still had 42 seconds. That’s a massive amount of risk to still be in an iffy situation. I think I would have forced the Packers to get a field goal in 42 seconds with just a timeout. That was my thinking with my original comment of going for it only if there was no time left for GB. Either way, I like the courage. But I think that's actually why you go for it. If you're up 1, GB HAS to go down the field, and the kicking game has not exactly been great. If you tie it, GB still has a chance to get a FG but is content to go to OT. I think you play your highest % to beat Rodgers with your backup QB, which imo is just going for 2 and hoping you can hold them off for 40 seconds.
  13. We still have to endure our special teams unit fielding an onside kick.
  14. 42 seconds is plenty of time to at least do the Crosby experience.
  15. Love the decision to go for 2.
  16. I think it depends on how much time is left if they score. If it's too little time for the Packers to do anything, I'd go for 2. If they score with 90 seconds left I'd kick the PAT. If you take a one point lead with too much time left there is obviously no reason for GB to not be aggressive. If you tie it, there is more incentive for GB to be a bit safer.
  17. Not so sure they won't go for 2. Would seem to be the ideal situation for it.
  18. 2nd and 3rd down were botched passes.
  19. That punt flopping out of bounds isn't as bad as you think.
  20. Less than ideal offensive drive. At least we didn't throw an incomplete pass.
  21. Disney content returns. That was quick.
  22. technically true, but if the Chargers opted to kick a few FGs early in that game instead of going for it that was an L last night. Mahomes had a very uneven game but made some big plays at the end with the help of a tired Chargers' defense that ran some ill-advised man coverage behind a gassed pass rush. Joey Bosa had a brutal game last night - seems like whenever he was on the field the only thing he did was leave his pass rush gap and allow Mahomes to get out of the pocket and buy time for Kelce and Hill to run free for a big play. KC's defense has been playing really well after they looked like hot garbage to start the year, so they at least don't have to score 40 to win a game...they are probably going to be the team to beat in the AFC again this postseason, but to me that entire conference is full of decent teams but there are 2-3 NFC teams better than all of them. Yeah my point was that Love and the Packers performance that game looks much better hindsight than it did at the time, when they were shut down by a "mediocre" struggling KC team that is now likely going to win the AFC again. Until last night, no QB had really done anything against them, and they played a few good ones. If they played them next weekend with Love in the same circumstance, I think most would forecast a total bloodbath.
