  1. Well, I think I predicted a double-dip CB draft and our annual 4th round OT-that-might-be-a-guard-in-the-NFL. Missed on EVERYTHING else. I like the DT in the 5th. Might only be a 2-down player, but pairs with Keke well. No more Snacks, I'd guess. With back-to-back drafts with 3 OL, we should be set inside for a while. If Nijman can take the next step to be quality depth or a starter, the line should be pretty strong for a long time.
  2. A manager at work (we are peers) likes to answer zoom conference call questions with "Well, I have some experience in this area..."; normally after several people have already given good answers... It would be one thing if it was once or twice, but it seems like every meeting we have, he tends to do this. Quite an insult to those who were just giving answers too. Last meeting he did this, he quite literally summarized everything the presenter said while adding nothing new...
  3. Goodbye binary! Hello tertiary or quaternary! One of my engineering professors told us that the person that could invent a computer that ran on more than two states would be very rich! I visited the four corners with my cel phone, does that count? Did it make you rich? No...probably not.
  4. How much do you pay per month for Spectrum cable service, if you don't mind me asking? $180 plus change. Includes internet and a landline. This is easily over double the cost I pay for my steaming, internet, and phone. That is why people cut the cord. Maybe a bit more hassle but much cheaper. You are paying for the convenience. If you are so happy about your service, it makes me wonder why you are posting in the cutting the cord thread.
  5. Feliciano looked very good in ST. I believe he is the real deal at catcher.
  6. Dustin May... What Brandon Woodruff would look like if he went to Corbin Burnes' hairstylist.
  7. Will that confuse Tom Brady? And how will Tom Brady explain this to his son?
  8. Perhaps this is the plan... make Aaron happy by drafting his cousin? And a WR even...
  9. Just realized that Josh Myers is 6'5"... that is huge for a center. Does he play anywhere else than C?
  10. Talent or no talent, but he must be a huge risk given the minimal amount of games he has played. I kind of want him to succeed given he is a midwest guy and from a smaller school. But I also would love to see him flop just because it is the 49ers...
  11. This pick makes a lot of sense, I heard Brady is going to host Jeopardy now. I heard rumor I just made up now that Tom Brady is going to host jeopardy, and LeVar Burton is Tampa's QB next year. Crazy. That's just silly. I just made up a rumor that since Rodgers already did Jeopardy, Brady will host the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? Unrelated, but Gronk is going to host a college version of Double Dare in a continuance of the NFL's partnership with Nickelodeon.
  12. I'm still a little confused. Are you saying he wouldn't have played as well as Favre or just as well as he's played in the era he's in? If it's the later, I think that would go for literally every other QB playing. Mahomes would have been great, but nothing like he is right now if his career started when Favre's did. The QB is just so protected now and on top of that, they keep making it easier to throw the ball, etc..all things we all know. I took it to mean you thought if Rodgers and Favre played in the same era, Rodgers wouldn't have been as good as Favre. I mean that if Rodgers had started his career in 1991 instead of 2005, I think he would've still been a good QB. But I think he would not have reached the peak he did in this era. Likewise, if Favre had started in 2005 instead of 1991, I think he would've been a good QB, just not as good as he was. Simply put, trying to compare QBs at different times is hard. Yes, they overlapped, but the two eras were different. I love having both of them as Packers. They were both great in different ways and different styles. Why does one need to be better than the other? No way for either of us to prove it either way. Just fun
  13. Ok, so you address the OL with a center... So Jenkins probably stays at LG and becomes the backup LT/RT (if Bahk isn't ready for the first game)?
  14. He was moving up the draft boards late though. And like everyone is saying...what do the internet boards know anyway? It isn't like a huge reach at the end of the 1st.
  15. I prefer Stokes to Samuel. Two short CBs starting is a risk. Bad speed numbers too if I remember right.
  16. I saw a lot of mocks with Stokes going to the Packers. I'd say I'm not disappointed, but not wowed either... He is taller than I thought.

  18. Yeah, he wouldn't be bad, but with two starting safeties already, people would scream...
